“I had an incident on the way home from Drakes Paint in Grants Pass. I got home and I had paint dripping out of the back of my truck. One of the gallons of paint tipped over and spilled out. I called Drakes and spoke to John, he immediately apologized and not only offered to replace the gallon I
lost but offered another gallon for all of the trouble of cleaning it up. Honestly this is not what I expected, this is truly what good service from a respectable business should be.

“Yes, it’s expensive. Yes, it’s worth it. I am a DIY’er. I had forever been using Behr paint. When I had the bathroom remodel the contractor told me to get SWP, so I did. Whoa, what a difference. It doesn’t smell toxic. It’s so smooth going on. It covers well. The difference is notable. Hannah was very helpful when I was thinking about adding drywall mud to paint. She suggested a test piece which I had not considered. The young men who’ve helped me have all been professional and friendly as well. I’m slowly painting the whole house. I combined two green samples to paint the smaller bathroom and I combined a half gallon with two samples to paint a couple accent walls. I’m sure this is not recommended but it worked very well and let me use up the samples which are large and not cheap. I just stirred them really well initially and throughout the job.
