What a gem of a hotel! I came into town unexpectedly and looked for a hotel and this one came up with good reviews. I called to see if they had availability and they did. Patti at the front desk was so lovely/friendly/helpful and made me feel welcome and at home (she actually used to live near my area so we had lots to chat about!). The grounds are just beautiful... it's like having your own private park. I wasn't able to take advantage of the pool and hot tub but will put that on the list for next time. Definitely worth a stay! :)

This place seemed so promising based on online pictures, ratings, etc. The grounds are immaculate, rooms bare but comfortable, that's about where it stops. We had family visiting from out of town and it seemed like the perfect place. Unfortunately, numerous encounters with staff (GM Shelly, common theme through these reviews) has left a sour taste and we won't ever recommend Redwood Hyperion Suites.
From rude staff, passive agressive notes, to questioning who they were by demanding names and room numbers while relaxing outside because they supposedly had to remove some transients in the area earlier. My family had been there a few days and would not be mistaken for local houseless folks. There are better ways to request this info or simply look at who is staying at the facility. Which wouldn't have been difficult because it appeared 4 rooms were occupied, at most. Yelling from a distance is wildly inappropriate.
The "do not disturb" sign was hung outside the doors and staff clearly went in. One stated they "had to" because they needed to empty the garbage.
Another time, the "do not disturb" sign supposedly fell off the door, staff entered and left a note saying they would not service the room daily. They never asked to have the room serviced.
The icing on the cake was a soda from the vending machine that tasted rancid. Upon inspection, it had expired in 2022.
Customer service does not match the esthetic of this location.
I was going to give 2 stars but after reading rancid responses from the "owner" and how they continue to treat people, 1 it is.

We stay here every time we go to grants pass. To us this is one of the better hotels in the whole town The prices are good and the rooms are huge they also have jacuzzi tubs and fireplaces. Even with the tubs they have showers also. Our room had a living room area with TV and fireplace and the other side was our bedroom with TV and fireplace. They also have all the amenities you would need to keep your food cold or warm your food or cook your food with the microwave. I would definitely stay here again and I do recommend the place.Nearby activities: You're pretty much right in the middle of grants pass so you're near the river there is a lot to do in this area.Food & drinks: There's definitely a lot of restaurants in the area.

They have beautiful grounds and exterior upkeep but rooms are very dated and worn out. No complementarybreakfast or decafe on site.Dog area is removed from pet friendly rooms. Much better choices in grants pass for the cost.

Where to start? Fridge door fell off when opened, no biggie it didn't get cold enough to keep our "to go" food cold. So no breakfast, and no on site breakfast as advertised. Coffee in room but no decaf. Only 2 towels for a king size room. Sheets and towels are rough.AAA signage everywhere and no AAA discount. Tile floor in pet friendly room is sticky. Dog walking area is on the other side of the compound from pet rooms. Beautiful grounds, it appears all the energy invested is in the landscaping.Would have moved but for the 48 hour cancelation policy.

We had a ridiculous experience here. The desk agent was a nice guy but we were LOCKED IN to the room for about 30 minutes, which is a true fire hazard. We were then moved to a room with a broken blind.
