I have dealt with various pharmacies over the years, and have NEVER seen such a horrific place as this! Everyone I spoke with was extremely rude and nasty to the point of being unbelievable! I went in pick up a refill and was told it wasn't ready yet and I would need to get in the other line that was for new refill request. (the order had been in for 3 days) They acted like I had spit on them or something, and said they would fill as soon as they could. When I asked about how long it might take (nicely) they snapped that it would probably be done that day. Of course, that didn't happen either. I had to go back down to even see if it was ready because they NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER SEEN. BEWARE!

The store itself is ok, the prices are just ok (kinda on the spendy side but that's to be expected of this type of store) BUT THE PHARMACY IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! They never have anything ready on time, the never answer the phone when you need to call and check on your prescriptions(I was on the phone for 10 minutes while it rang and redirected me to the initial machine prompt that tells you which number to push at least 10 times this morning alone), and what's worse is sometimes they call to tell you it's ready and when you arrive you have to go to the "drop off window" who then usually tell you it will be about another hour. I understand short staffing and what not but it is getting absolutely ridiculous, the very least they can do is answer the phone and ask us to hold!

I wish I could leave a zero. Worst attitude, worst help and downright criminal for people that need their meds. Someone is going to drop dead because of their incompetence. I wish they would shut them down. And the owner Pam...doesn't EVER do Jack crap so don't bother calling to complain. My family is informed to sue if I do die, have a stroke or heart attack. I have very high unsafe blood sugar levels and insulin is crucial to containing the right level. They never keep it in stock and always have to order. I call it in way beforehand and they never send for it and by the time I call next I have to wait again and now they don't even answer phone. They should lose their license and if they can't hire more pharmacists at LEAST hire someone to answer calls. Best advice...go the heck some place else....and save yourself the epic headache!!!

I was going to be funny and write funny quips about how despicable this place is but I am so angry I don't want to be funny. 1: This wretched pit of human despair schedules a new person (by their own admission) ALONE on the pick counter with no one to help him. 2: Why did I wait more than hour to finally be told to talk to the human bodily fluid stain at the drop off window only to be told by MS Hutt. In the rudest possible way. That they guy (gentlemen) at the pick up window is new like that makes this all okay. She would not get my medicine and tells me to come back in an hour. Mind you I live 45 minutes away and can't wait because all the waiting chairs are taken. If this flippant monster would have just said I apologize and not taken the opportunity to be a flaming dog turd. I would have just said oh well and just left. Riteaid, why do you employ people who outwardly hate and resent your customers? You're management knows this Charmer is like this and still it crawls into work stinking of hate and despair. No one has worked to help this fetid troglodyte deal with HER hateful attitude? Why do you schedule personnel who are not fully trained by themselves the busiest day of the week alone with no one to help them and by proxy help the customer with their life saving insulin?Why does it take 1 hour to process 5 customers? I can count how many hours I will be in your shore by counting heads. Why for the Lord's sake do does this company accept this? The better question is why don't I step back to a kinder more gentle time in evolutionary history and simple defecate on the floor in front of her window? Last question why should anyone get this upset about a pharmaceutical hick up? If there is anyway to avoid this open cesspool do yourself a favor and run away as fast as you can.

One of the worst pharmacy staffs ever. Not only do they refuse to answer their phones but they tell you your prescription is ready through texts then you drive down there and they tell you have to wait an hour. They told me my son with a disability just needs to join a sport instead of taking medication... Then proceeded to tell me that sports will heal his autism pretty much. ? Thank you so much but hard pass on this pharmacy

Rite Aid on D St. Pharmacy in Grants Pass, OR is a joke. I went in the other day 8/20/22 after having called in an RX refill 5 days before and was unable to get through on the phone; only to be told it hadn't been filled yet, they were a week behind due to not enough employees and I'd have to wait 45 min to an hour. How does a pharmacy get 1 week behind on refills? Some people's lives depends on their medication. Just unbelievable.

Worst pharmacy. Zero customer service. Disrespectful, uncaring pharmacist's who could care less about people and life sustaining medications. They are obviously there for the paycheck and nothing more. Shame on rite aid for allowing their staff to treat people with less respect than a stray dog. Still praying my husband doesn't throw a clot due their failure.

This locations Pharmacy needs customer service training ASAP. Oregon is a will to work state, so I understand if not everyone has a bubbly attitude, but the contempt in the employees toward the customers needs to be addressed. They also have unusual wait times on hold when calling to refill scripts, avg. 1-2 hrs. This Pharmacy location and its other location in Grants Pass need customer service training and a more respectful attitude toward the general public. Oregon maybe a will to work state, however my will to give businesses that act like this my money is not there, please have accountability for your employees. Thank you.

If there was an option to give this place zero stars, I would. A big THUMBS DOWN to the pharmacy department. I'm so disappointed to hear that there is NO communication to clients when prescriptions are not going to be filled at the appropriate time. The ignorance and the audacity! Peoples lives depend on this. The least they can do is prepare their clients ahead of time. How do they expect to keep business? Beyond me. If you're looking for a local pharmacy, let me save you some inconvenience and tell you to look else where.

my husband has used this pharmacy for over 20 years, went in today to refill his meds, between 50 and 60 a month for his 3 meds. she said they were not filled because the copay was too high. i said we pay cash for these, no copay. she said they had stopped their rewards savings plan and now the three prescriptions were over 900 per month, i told her we had not received any notice of this, was told they were busy, . left the store crying, very poor treatment of longtime customer.

Went in tonight and was rudely helped by the pharmacist named Terry. He was very short and rude and just an extremely bad attitude. When people go into a pharmacy its not cause they feel good its to get something to help make them feel better and to be treated so terrible specially during this time just is wrong. Did get treated nicely by a lady named Sandi which was very nice.

Rude pharmacy employees or just stupid. Filled my prescription wrong twice. Almost always have to go three or more times to get a prescription filled. Pharmacist lied to me about the Doctor's order. Checked with my Doctor and he said he called it in correctly but it was filled incorrectly. Don't use either store. Both are equally bad!!!

I actually only use rite aid for the pharmacy, and I have been a customer with the pharmacy since I was a child!! I am shocked at the lack of professionalism of their pharmacists they currently have employed!
