If you need a clean place to shower and sleep this is your room. It’s old and basic but it’s clean and has a small fridge TV, air conditioning and microwave in it. The pool was empty when I was here and parking lot is clean of trash but cigarette butts were all over. Ice and vending machine is located outside near the pool. It’s a solid 2 star but for the price and location it’s ok.

A friend and I have been traveling looking for a place to stay and get off the road late at night although sunset inn had availability, good price and good reviews, THEY HAVE BED BUGS!!!!!!! The office area smelt nasty and when i got the room key I went straight to the room WITHOUT any of my belongings to check the room for bed bugs and IMMEDIATELY I found one crawling under the comforter…..

So figured I’d elaborate because the guy working the front counter thought something was wrong.
My wife is a traveling nurse and the kids wanted to swim so we went with her to Salem.
Anyway on the way back we weren’t going to make it home for her next shift. So we stopped here at 3 am. We paid for two nights because obviously the first night and because I we wouldn’t have anywhere to go we paid for the next night so we could stay till she got off work.
Basically we checked in at 3 am and out at 8 pm the next day.
We understand how hotels work though we have had to do this before. So nothing was wrong.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL…..
I first arrived at this hotel to check in at the front lobby. I was greeted professionally by the front office guy. I had a trailer we needed to accommodate for parking he did just that and no problem there!! Once back into the lobby to finish check in he was very rude. Short and didn’t seem to care about us or that we chose to stay at his now known “nasty” hotel.
Check in was complete he kept my key cards and proceeded to walk us to our room??? Used the cards to open the door walked in the room first and then stood inside the room I entered the room and he did not say a word just stood there awkwardly. I was completely uncomfortable and I’m a 6 foot man….Women DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
Once inside the room I started looking around room is DIRTY stained towels coffee pot is dirty, night stand is stained furniture is scratched and damage microwave and fridge are filthy….
I stay in 2-3 hotels every week for work and this place takes the cake in the WORST HOTEL IVE BEEN TOO.

Would not stay here again. It was 11:00pm, and we needed to be on the road before 6:00am. Thought this cheaper room compared to the others in the area would be an okay option. I don't mind old and run down for a cheap price. But I do care about clean. The towels and sheets were not visibly dirty, so I gave the place a 2 star. But the furniture, end tables and floor were gross. Only one of our group took a shower - I didn't because I didn't want to walk on the floor in my bare feet.
Hosts were friendly during the two minute interaction I had a check in and check out. One of the worst hotels I've stayed in. Our $200 room had 3 beds in it, which was nice.

We arrived late and tired from a backpacking trip just wanting a bed and a shower. Room is old with shoddy amateur refurbishings, and an oppressive odor of air freshener. Bathroom was gross. Moldy caulk, dirty moldy shower curtain, and a bath matt that should be thrown out. The drains were slow, almost completely clogged. Bed and sheets were low end, but clean enough. We used to call these kind of places cheap and skanky, but it is no longer cheap, but still plenty skanky.$135? We should have stayed another night in our tent

Someone tried to call and say I was load. But my daughter was asleep and has asthma and bad allergies haven't slept well the last two nights because her cough wa so so so bad . I finally had her cough regulated and she was sleeping and I was laying in bed , the front office called me at 1240 am or 1am and woke my daughter and me up . Which then I was help trying to regulate her cough again. I am extremely disappointed and aggravated 😤 my daughter ended up being awake for hours later cuz her cough wouldn't allow her to sleep .

The staff was great, the room was very clean, nice, three pillows per bed, and an ice machine. The pool was being fixed still a little bit cold to swim but looks like a nice pool.
My mom and I stayed in a room with two queen beds.
To the bad reviews I did not find anything dirty so that review has been taken care of in my book.
Five out of five.
The price was great and 100 is all we paid.

We were traveling through the area and this was the only hotel we could find with any rooms left. While the service was great—staff were friendly and helpful—the room was a completely different story.
The door was sketchy, hard to open, and didn’t feel secure. There was no working lock, which made us uncomfortable. On our way to the room, we had to step over dog poop on the stairs. Once inside, the room felt dirty. The beds didn’t feel clean, the towels were stained and rough, and the TV didn’t work. The shampoo packets were dried out, and the coffee machine was dirty. The shower mat was old, cracked, and unpleasant to step on. Worst of all, the neighbors were loud all night—going in and out of their room and talking loudly with no break, making it nearly impossible to sleep.
Overall, while the staff was nice, the condition of the room and lack of cleanliness and safety made this a very disappointing stay. Would not recommend unless it’s an absolute last resort.

Not recommendable!!!! hotel for homeless people and addicts. bad experience with this hotel, bad experience and bad treatment by the manager, a man of Indian nationality.They charged me 120 dollars for a room that when I entered, it smelled bad, it had dirty pillowcases, they offered to change them, when they took them out to put new ones, the pillows were stained with BLOOD. from that moment I did not want to sleep there!!!! I don't want to imagine the amount of blood that could be on that mattress among other things. we kindly asked for a refund as seeing blood in there gave me no confidence to stay in any room. This man went crazy, and he did not want to return the money, which was fair because the room was not in good condition, he yelled at us, he closed the window in our faces, he did not want to communicate with the supervisor, he threatened to call the police , for asking for a refund, which I asked him to please call the police, he did not. he closed the window in our faces and left. after yelling at us and giving us a hard time. he decided the right thing to do was pay us back. I don't think any normal person would like to know that they sleep on blood. The explanation he gave us later was that many drug addicts and homeless people sleep there, and sometimes they cut themselves because of that there is blood... which was consistent with an area like that, which according to him is normal. In short, if you want to sleep on old blood stuck to mattresses and pillows covered by sheets, this is your place!!!

This room was pathetic, room was pathetic. Filthy shower, curtain, tub toilet, everything was filthy has a clanky bottom aluminum or some kind of noisy metal around the base of bed. Sheets looked used. Toilet ready to fall over. Windows were dirty. Pool not filled. No receipt. This was awful. Will not recommend!

Room filthy. Underwear still in drawer from past customer. Holes in walls. Bathroom drywall patched unpainted and blackmold. The day before my checkout customer called police to try to get deposit back told to take them to civil court. The day of my check out three people leaving had security deposit taken. I would recommend staying anywhere else in grants pass. Have stayed in bed bug infested cinder block hovels in the third world that left me better rested and less violated upon checkout.

Had a dirty room. Bathroom needs repair as there was holes on the ceiling, on wall in tum and around shower. Tried to use the microwave and the outlets didn’t work. Had to move microwave to and spot in the room. The female person taking checking in was very very rude and disrespectful towards my Son and daughter. Said check out was 10:30am, no breakfast offered and the pool was empty and broken.I called at 8am to get late check out and the same rude female said there was as no late checkout and i needed to check out at 10am.After arguing with me about saying their contract says 11am checkout and the placard on the hotel room wall clearly states an 11am checkout, she still argued with me.I had a horrible stay there. Would never recommend going there to anyone.Oh, she did finally say i could check out at 11am and i did.Very rude people with very poor service in a horrible room and in top of that they charged $89.00 usd not what they advertised as on priceline and google maps.

This place is a joke. The owner refused to accept the reservation I made and paid for online. Wanted to argue with me about having the reservation I showed him the confirmation number and he said he wouldn't accept it. He had a problem with the card we used even though the payment went through. I wanted to call the cops cuz I felt like I had been robbed. He disrespected me cuz I'm a woman just a horrible horrible person he is. This trip has been stressful enough it's for my husband's uncle's funeral and this guy just made it 10 times worse.
