5 stars because of very good prior experiences. The latest would only get 3, but I consider it an anomaly.The 15 foot moving van was quite old. Don't know the year, but it showed a lot of it's 154K+ mileage and there were ergonomic issues like no step to get in and an accelerator pedal way too close to the brake pedal AND offset to the left more than any other vehicle I've driven. Also, the ramp would get stuck about 4 - 6 inches from latching retracted. Made pulling it out and putting it back in difficult.The appliance dolly had at least one wheel bearing shot. Took extra force to roll it with any load and it squeaked wickedly. Fortunately, I didn't have to move the side-by-side fridge I got it for. I'm not sure how that would have played out, but I'm guessing not well.Otherwise, Booth Street Storage has always been a great place to rent U-Hauls from. The people there are really nice and I've never had a bad experience from any of the various trailers I've rented from them. I highly recommend them.

Needed a pickup to haul my big transmission to White City, OR for trade in. I ended up getting the job done quicker than expected, so they pro-rated the rental for a lower cost.

uhaul SUCKS worst experience of my life! made moving so much more stressful. terrible. to bad its only company with large truck rentals. i hope i never need a uhaul again

I rented a truck here for a local project, but when I started to load I discovered the truck had no ramp. I was loading a heavy machine and could not do so without a ramp. I had never rented a truck without a ramp before and had neglected to look. Apparently the smaller Uhaul trucks don't have ramps. I drove back to Booth St and the woman was very sympathetic. She didn't charge me for the truck or the dolly, and called alternative dealers until she found one who had a larger truck available. She really took the sting out of a day that started badly. Thank you, Booth St Storage!

Made a reservation to get a small Uhaul, we get there and the man who claims to be the owner was having problems running our cards. Once everything was figured out we(my boyfriend and I) went to inspect the Uhaul and take pictures of it. They had it parked SUPER close to the building so we pulled it forward to inspect the other side. When we started the truck it dumped a good 15 gallons a water straight out of the bottom of engine. We immediately turned it off and went inside to inform them that the truck they just rented us was broke. We went out there with the owner as he's nspecting the engine a woman from his other lot next door comes over and AUTOMATICALLY starts treating us like crap, when the truck had only be moved not even 10 feet from where the had it. We had asked for the pick up that they had, and there was an issue because we had already rented the other truck. The older lady had come into the office and started working on a complete refund, whilst making comments under her breath. She then said "I've refunded your money, now slide your card again." After checking our account to make sure we weren't getting scammed, the money WAS NOT in our account. We brought this to her attention and her response was "It wasn't even really a refund, we were just holding your money." Okay, but that's not what she originally said. So, we told her and the owner we'd have to go put more money on our card, because they've taken our money and it hasn't been put back on yet. The owner proceeds to run his own card, and tells us it's comped. They gave us the BROKEN TRUCK. Being the people we are we went and got cash to give to him upon the return of the truck. We get there to return the truck, the owner is now on lunch. My boyfriend told the lady that we would like to pay the owner cash directly for his kind deed, she then proceeded to tell and tell us we couldn't pay him cash and that we will be recieving a bill in the mail as well as being banned from Uhaul. Then she locks us out of their office with no paperwork or receipt showing that we ever even rented a Uhaul. So, we patiently waited outside on the curb for the owner to come back and come outside so we could give him the cash for the truck(it was in plain sight in our hands) . The owner finally comes out and starts yelling at us about how we talked to his secretary, or whatever and that we weren't allowed back to that rental location. That's fine, but WE still recieved no paperwork or anything. Completely and totally unprofessional. A complaint was made with corporate and sent into the corporate management office. Hope they rip his license for allowing that kind of behavior that has been brought to his attention I'm sure more than once.

Had everything needed for moving friend to Ca. Had all basic stuff for packing, boxes,tape, furniture pads, etc... AlsoStaff and employees were vevy helpfull.

All went well...their mileage charge is excessive though. 79cents per mile? That's alot. Truck couldve used a cd player or at least bluetooth also. But it drives well. The passenger seat was very uncomfortable for me but I have back issues so most car seats are painful. Anyhow...they are easy to book and drop off!
