Our Grants Pass, Oregon, Fred Meyer has completed a complete renovation and appears to be making changes toward improved customer experience, but that was not my experience. My wife saw a couch at the store she wanted for our new office. I drove about 30 miles to get my truck and went to the store for the couch. I waited by the sofa for the store clerk, who arrived and casually told me they had none. I told him I would take the floor display, and he said they do not sell those. He offered to put me on a waiting list, but he had no idea if or when any were coming in. After wasting time, I left and went to my office. I called Fred Meyer in the next town over and asked for the same couch. They informed me that they had none. I asked about the floor model, and they told me they had sold it. Now upset, I went back to the local store and asked for the manager. The manager's name is Lisa, and she is unpleasant. She told me that she does not sell the floor displays until it is discontinued. She mentioned several times that she had seven "rainchecks" on that couch. In my opinion, If you do not have it, remove the display or put something on it to let people know so they do not waste their time. Lisa does not feel this way and seems proud to have seven "rainchecks." Although it seemed obvious, she mentioned more than once that I was not the first. Well, I was not the last either because I left. I went across town and found a similar couch at a different store. I paid a little more, but the quality is much better. Most importantly, it was a pleasant experience.

Noticed employees going out of their way to help. Especially in electronics, and sewing. We all know they have low amount of employees, but it's nice to see happy, helpful, nice employees. Matt and Billy are the great kind of employees! They have helped me numerous times.

It's your average Walmart super center. They have just about everything you need at a decent price and a decent quality. Many options of pre-packaged national brands. I do like this place for a quick pick up of items and knick knacks. We wouldn't buy anything here for its quality but certainly for its convenience. For quality I would give it two stars for price I would give it three stars for efficiency and convenience I would give it five stars. Overall I would give it three and a half stars, but I settle for three stars. The self checkout was pretty efficient.

I should disclose I dont shop here, no way...but my cousin went there (for tires). While that was being done he went in and bought some beers, road sodas he called em, for drunk driving. Well the cashier double charged him! 22 dollars for a six pack of porters, yikes. Now say he should have realized, but sometimes with a credit card we forget we are spending money. That's why I always use a credit card, it's like free money, except that down the road I'll be in trouble. What is this bankruptcy business...I want me some of that. Oh yeah and fudge off wallsmard.

Grants Pass Walmart's manager should be ashamed !!! Store was very dirty. Employees were just standing around talking and and when I asked a question didn't have an answer. Shelves were empty and when I asked if they had a product they said they TRY NOT to work in that department. Why would anyone shop there????? I know I wont again.

I was happy with the service from the Walmart Deliveries until yesterday. I didn't get my food stamps until the 6th but we were out of food so I placed a small order, on the 4th about $30 worth, to be delivered yesterday between 1-2, this is now the 6th and still the order hasn't been delivered. After numerous phone calls I found out that every driver they gave my order to refused it, one saying they only want deliveries that they make money on. So forget about people that don't have lots of money to spend. They don't even call to tell you there's a problem. I called 3 times yesterday and 4 times today. I placed a large order for tomorrow and was told I would get both at that time! I understand you work for tips but just because it's a small order doesn't mean it's right to blow us off!

Very unorganized. The store is a mess. Shelves are empty with inventory in boxes everywhere. Can't find anything. No one is available to help you. Think I will shop at WinCo.

Walmart is ridiculous with all the over stock in all of the store can't get to anything you want. And some of the pallets have dates of 3-27-21 stuff still stocked.

I wouldn't advise anyone to shop at walmart or walmart.com because of the issue I've had returning tires I bought. However, an employee name Ann Marie went above and beyond to help take care of my order. I've never had customer service to such an extent. Ann Marie deserves a raise. Thank you so much.

I'm standing in line at the electronics department and how is it that the people behind me then the people at the side of me we're getting helped before me and I'm in line and I am totally being ignored by Caucasian cashier men o1 of the guys in a ponytail and they're completely ignored me sounds like prejudism to me I went and got a manager she did help me and I asked her to look at the camera so she can see how bluntly they just left me standing in line while they helped other customers this is such BS just thought everybody should know about Walmart if you feel like you're being disrespected it can only be the color of your skin only because I did not say one word until I noticed what they were doing and then I said something out loud to them and to the people in line. Neither one of the cashiers bother to say I'll be right with you, you're next, just a minute, how can I help you absolutely nothing. Just totally ignore me DONT SHOP AT THIS PLACE.

Thank you Walmart Grants Pass crew for maintaining such a clean store! One note of Covid-19 advice for associates: masks need to COVER YOUR NOSE as well as your mouth

They have one way entrance and exit and wear masks but there is NO social distancing here. An employee walked right by me within 12". I was annoyed people are all crowding together with no masks!
