Went there to grab some flagstones today. The two guys who came out to help were genuinely helpful, listened to what I was looking for and helped me dig through the bin to find what I needed. Definitely would recommend.

I just bought a literal ton of rocks. The signs list a ton price and not per pound price. I rang up my purchase at their close of day - immediately after leaving i realized that i was charged a drastically higher price - the per pound price and not the ton price. I called back the next day and spoke to who rang me up. He agreed that i could return and buy more of the stone to get the ton price (so that it was all of one type), i sent my landscaper back two days later with a trailer to pick up and pay for the difference, which would be another 3/4ths of a ton.
They refused him and said that would have only been doable if we had come back the same day. Its literally a days difference and we have our receipt and were told they would make good on this. Guy on the phone said, “oh yea i meant to call you back and forgot to tell you it had to be same day. My manager says you can buy a whole other ton to get the ton price”. I have already spent $12500 and should have more than twice the amount of stone i have. big difference!
So they wasted more of our time and i feel ripped off. Considering i have more large landscaping projects, this just seems like bad business practice. They would have made the same money off of their set price and now will not get any future business from myself or the landscapers I work with. This place is already one of the most expensive in town and they cant be trusted.

Not only did they squeeze us in last minute but the driver Mark went over the top giving us a hand with the material delivered. Only good things to say about how they treated us and the job!! Highly Recommend !

Great place for rocks for your landscaping. Everytime we have been in for rock the guys have been incredibly helpful and treated us like one of the contractors that they see more regularly. After getting rock for our koi pond, newly extended back yard rock wall, we are already looking forward to the next project in the Spring.

Outstanding selection of pavers of various quality levels, MANY types of rock cuts, pebble, bubblers, sand.
I have gone to many hardscape places around Portland and Salem. AAS beats them on price, quality and service. This place has good customer service, options for special orders. Trades and non-pro pricing.

customer service in this country has gone by the waist side..but not with these guys .how refreshing having such fantastic service with a smile, these guys at this rock shop "rock " for a better word. they answered all of our questions ran around helping us make a good decision on our rocks and made time to deliver, and a carful delivery with true professionalism that is lost lately ..thank you fellas especially the boss Mitch who went out of his way to help..well done fellas well done..we are customers for life!! see you next time we need anything ..we are glad to give you our business !

All About Stone is wonderful. They have a great selection of gravel, stone, rocks and pavers; and also a great team.Most recently we ordered several pallets of pavers for our yard. The staff was super helpful, but a miscommunication did occur that could have caused us a major inconvenience and expense. However, the owner called personally and helped figure out a solution. (No small business is perfect, and the difference comes down to how they handle discrepancies).We will be back to All About Stone.

Tanner @ All About Stone ROCKS but seriously... We have been using All About Stone for about 6 years for various projects on our home and rental house. Every time we are more than satisfied with the service (they couldn't be more helpful) and the product (always very straight forward and quality) but our last order really showed why we keep coming back. We ordered 1.5 yards of river rock to top off some landscape at our rental and unfortunately there was an error based on the size of rock. We called and were lucky enough to get Tanner on the phone. After some phone calls and photo exchange, Tanner offered to load up his truck with an additional yard of stone and deliver is 30 minutes later. He arrived solo and helped unload our rock by hand with a shovel Talk about exceptional service. He was kind, helpful and obviously an exceptionally hard worker. It was just enough to finish our landscape project in time for our tenant to arrive home. We are blown away!!! Thank you Tanner!!! You deserve a raise! And thank you All About Stone, another project off the list thanks to your help.

Sorry that they are moving out to Gresham instead of east Portland. They are a great resource for decorative rocks and landscape supplies.
