Everything was great up until I came in for an appointment, they took my money, and then decided to tell me that my insurance is no longer accepted as of 2 days ago. They are money hungry pigs and the stick up girl who thought she was an authority figure told me that “we can’t possibly call everyone to let them know”. Absolutely unprofessional and deceptive.

I went here to get the free x rays and exam to get a second opinion from what the OHP office said, and to see what my options are outside of OHP if I want to give up and have to pay out of pocket. Overall I think Aspen Dental as a corporation is sketchy as hell. Seems very predatory and out for profits and not people. This isn't unique in the US. I would give Aspen dental the corporation one star. This specific office was ok. I had to come in a second day to complete my free "first appointment" because the hygienist was out for a medical emergency that day. This is understandable, but what is not particularly understandable is them not informing that half the reason I came in that first day wasn't happening and I'd need to come back. They should have call and told me about the staffing issue and rescheduled me for a different day when it could all happen at once. They didn't even tell me this info until the end of the x ray exam part when I was confusedly asking about when the gum poking part would happen. Overall 3.5 stars. The dentist i saw, Todd I think, seemed fine. He was friendly enough. He recommended that I get my wisdom teeth removed to the tune of like 4000$, though, which I find suspicious. It's in line with other reviews (professional agency ones, not just client reviews) that suggest the dentists have quotas of expenses to recommend to people, eg being compensated more or not being fired if they prescribe people more expensive treatments, like dentures and teeth removals. A full on surgery isn't the first thing (or even the 2nd or 3rd) that should be tried to solve an issue imo. Especially when it's so expensive out of pocket. The hygienist just recommended i try getting a mouth guard for teeth grinding, and having more in office cleanings (on the best practices schedule of 6 mo rather than the state funded 12 mo) and more at home hygiene tools to try to solve it first, avoiding any teeth removal or buzzing or crowns. Which seems a much more reasonable start. ⭐⭐⭐ 3 starsThe hygienist i saw, Lauren, was awesome. Was knowledgeable, explained everything to me well, and was very nice. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The first financial consultant at the end of my first appointment was pretty sus. ⭐⭐ She was presenting the extremely expensive plan that the dentist put together like it wasn't optional, and just asked me about scheduling my next visit, rather than discussing the options with me. Just going on the assumption that the dentist's plan was what was going to be happening, and not providing me an opportunity to think about it. I think other people, perhaps people in more vulnerable positions, wouldn't have thought to have the ability to question that authority. It's a bit of a predatory practice imo.Second financial consultant was less/not pushy, or maybe I was just more secure in my position and not caught off guard like last time, so I just went ahead and hold her what I was there for, and cut off the branches of conversation going towards predatory financing options (like credit cards with hidden interest and fees, that I have seen people mention on review websites). She wasn't really pushy at all. She was fine. 4 stars ⭐⭐⭐ I did have to wait quite a while to talk to her. She was working with another dental client before me and it took a while. Which is basically fine. She's only one person. She was perhaps a little misleading in answering my question about why they don't accept medicaid, first saying it was bc Medicaid didn't approve their office, like it was Medicaid's decision to now allow it to be covered. But after a little further questioning, it's actually that they don't follow the rules that Medicaid requires offices to adhere to in order to be covered. So they COULD be covered under Medicaid, but they won't adhere to the regulations, and that's why they don't accept medicaid dental insurance. Seems very sus to me as they claim to be trying to serve low income people in need. To be fair, some of those regula

From check in to back office with hygienist and dental assistant and the doctor it was amazing. It’s rough these days but my first visit was a 10/10.

I had such a great experience at this location! I had a scheduling conflict and they were able to see me a day sooner. When I came in the man that was at the front desk was super friendly and kind. The lady who took my ex rays was so thorough and patient with me and explained what was on the exrays and the dentist was so good at explaining what was going on and what I could expect. From the time I walked in the door until I left, I had nothing but good things to say about this location. Already have my next appointment set up!

I only gave them 1 star cause although their staff was friendly I went in for unbearable pain and the did nothing except try yo pressure me into an 11,00 dollar procedure and doctor said he would tske care of my pain with some pain meds but all he sent iver were antibiotics and told me to take ibprophon even though I told them my cardiologist said not to take that because of possible kidney failure. Do they put my life at risk and did nothing for my pain

If I could post 0, I would. My son went in for his appt. Was told he had 13 cavities. They gave him quote, he paid, made a few appointments to get cavities fixed and a cleaning. He went in once and got some cavities fixed. They made another appt. for a later date for remaining fillings. Went to that appt. On that day when we actually drove there for his appointment after he took the day off, they said, " oh, we made a mistake, we changed computers and stuff from your last xray was read and you actually do not have anymore current cavities." And sent him on his way. How can they mess up that big?! What did they fill the 1st appointment he had after he was told he had cavities?!? He ended up going to another dentist for cleaning cause we did not trust them anymore and was told he does actually have 9 cavities! I don't get it! Worst dentist office ever. They do not know what they are doing. I feel like this could be a lawsuit. I mean if he did not go somewhere else to get his teeth cleaned he could have gone another year and cavities would have gotten worse. They should be out of business.

I cannot convey how polite and friendly their staff is. I was suffering from excruciating pain because of a tooth that needed to be pulled, and they took wonderful same-day care of me. I will be back for all future dental needs.

This is the most horrible dentist I’ve ever been to not only did they signed me up to come in two different days were they did nothing for me. I’m in pain. I have a tooth cutting my lip that broke and they can’t even see me or help me they lost my insurance card they won’t give it back And they are very disrespectful. When I asked for a manager she asked me to leave I would never ever trust any of these people with my teeth. I hope they all get shut down for everyone’s safety.

Dentist and tech (? Idk) were great — did not remember their names but I’m a 21 year old woman and I was really worried about going to the dentist for the first time since like 3rd grade. Answered all my questions thoroughly and personably. Dentist was quick and knowledgeable. I appreciated that he wasn’t super intimidating and cold like I kind of anticipated. They redirected me to the office manager for all the bad news (money stuff). I probably wasn’t very patient with her and it’s not her fault. Office manager if u see this sorry I am just broke.
