Was quoted $5,000+ in repairs at dealership. Received a referral to E&B Motors and after calling Edgar, brought my car in for a diagnostic. They solved the problem for less than $1,000 and, because their service was so stellar, I asked them to complete 100k mile maintenance. Edgar and team were prompt, friendly, professional, fair and all around awesome. Further, Edgar always took the time to explain what he was seeing with my car and what he would like to do to repair. When I was dropping my car off, initially, another customer - unprompted - shared how much he valued the services he received at E&B and won't take his car anywhere else.

Professional, helpful, worked with me in a complicated situation to help get my car back on the road as quickly and safely as possible. They were recommended to me by another person so I'm very happy to pass that recommendation forward! Edgar was excellent in his communication the entire time and kept me updated through the fix.

Edgar was absolutely amazing when I was in a serious pickle with my car! I drive a 2014 VW Passat TDI and had a very bad coolant leak. He came recommended from a friend and I am so glad I used him on my latest service. Not only did he take my car within an hour of me calling him, but he finished it literally the next day and let me borrow a car so I could still go to work. While he was working on my car, he was extremely transparent with me (even down to the prices of parts) and did a safety check on my car without my asking for free. From there, he learned my break pads and rotors were in horrible condition, sent pictures of everything, and saved me a ton of headache later on. On top of that, he did an oil change for free! Edgar was extremely communicative through the entire process and made me feel like I was a priority. He pointed out an additional bodywork (not pressing) issue I have with my car I wasn’t aware of to fix on a later date and I have found my new auto shop for all of my car needs. I was going to the car dealership when I first moved to the area, but after a negative interaction of them withholding information from me, I am so thankful to have found E & B Motors. I will be back time and time again! Thank you for everything, Edgar and Crew!

Bring your Subaru to these guys, not the dealership! The dude who runs it all worked at the Subaru dealership for like a decade it sounds like, so he can de everything they would at the dealership, just as well, but is so much easier to book and is a lot cheaper.
He also explains your options and what is going on with your car very well. I found him very approachable and was comfortable asking questions about what my options were.
Could not recommend a mechanic more. I wouldn't describe them as the absolute cheapest, but they are absolutely not the most expensive. The best to describe them is the least expensive mechanic that I would actually trust with my car.
In short, could not recommend these guys any more!

Our Subaru broke down in Gresham near a Subaru dealership. Their quote was really high. I called Edgar and he got our car, gave me a much better quote, gave us a loaner car and got the job done fast. He was so easy to work with, seemed really honest and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the outcome. We live in Central Oregon and he even met us half way to return our car. E and B Motors gets our recommendation 100%

After waiting a while to make sure my issues were resolved, the guys here, including Mr Edgar, went above and beyond to take care of me. My Caravan, used as an Emergency delivery vehicle takes quite the beating everyday on the road and I came with multiple issues (van seeming to overheat/thermostat, tire replacement, gasket, radiator, support arms), and the guys were very informative and genuine when explaining everything to me, even when I questioned some things, Edgar was thorough and knew what he was talking about. I look forward to coming back and getting my next issue resolved. Thanks guys!

I was experiencing several issues with my Subaru Outback, but Edgar took the time to thoroughly explain the problems to me. After replacing the torque converter, my car is running smoothly again. The main guy was great! He truly cares about what he is doing. He was very concerned with my BF's car needing maintenance more regularly. He fixed her up with an oil change and did an inspection complimentary to see if the vehicle needed anything else. He was very straight forward with what should be done, and explained the pricing. We need more mechanics like this guy. Also I called a day prior to coming in, he fit me right into a slotted time frame the next day. I would give more stars if I could. Thank you!!

I am putting 3 stars just because the boss knows what he is talking about and doesn't assume things.
The mechanic who did inspection of my vehicle kept saying transmission is bad and scared one of my buyers. His boss gave other ideas of what it could be, but the mechanic kept saying, and almost insisting the transmission was bad.
The quote was given by them to my buyer 1500-4000 for transmission service.
I knew transmission is new, and I mentioned it to them. I opened the center console and saw a loose wire in the clip. Unfortunately, I lost the buyer but resolved the issue by myself and saved myself the money. I would trust my vehicle to their boss, but I am not sure about mechanics.

they dont honor warranties.
they damaged my vehicle after i went in for an oil leak, and gave me my car back smoking out of the engine (new symptom). oil was still spilling all over other parts which in turn ruined my alternator. i brought it back in under warranty and they said it wasnt covered since it was my alternator, then did the job without my permission and threatened me when i said i didnt have the money (they were charging me 1500 for an ALTERNATOR) because they had already worked on it. edgar threatened to take all my parts out if i didnt come get it and pay. so i was forced to pay him and when he returned my car it was still smoking and leaking, someone had driven my car without my knowledge (mileage was WAY UP) and the door handle was broken and stuck from slamming. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE
