Gresham Japanese Garden - Tsuru Island is a peaceful and beautiful spot located inside Main City Park in Gresham. Open from sunrise to sunset, it offers a quiet place to relax and enjoy nature. The garden is small but well-maintained, creating a serene atmosphere with lovely scenery. Visitors can walk to the south to explore four more gardens, including Kyoudou Garden with a mural, Ebetsu Plaza, Ambleside Annex with a community newsletter, and the Hiroshima Peace Garden. The garden hosts cultural events, such as koto performances, and aims to promote learning and community connection. While the garden provides a tranquil setting, some visitors noted that it is not wheelchair accessible due to stone paths, and restroom access can be limited, especially during seasonal closures. Overall, Gresham Japanese Garden is a hidden gem for relaxing walks, enjoying nature, and experiencing Japanese culture in Gresham.
Cute spot. Free, so I would definitely say worth a visit. Though it’s a little small, but there weren’t a lot of people there so it wasn’t crowded.
Playground: Cute, versatile, and relatively clean.
Dog-friendliness: Lots of dogs on leashes! :)

Great little garden. Needs a little TLC, but maybe it because it's winter.

A beautiful (yet small) Japanese Garden tucked in Gresham's park district. Quiet, stunning and peaceful. I enjoyed my visit and appreciate the level of care that has been put into maintaining this gem.
