Priestly & Sons recently moved us from NW Oregon to SW Washington. Arthur and his crew were very professional. They packed all our goods (including 3 sets of china) carefully and efficiently, then moved all of our belongings with similar skill. As a result, there were NO casualties of any kind. We highly recommend them for your next move!

This is the third time I have used Priestly and Sons and every time is a great experience. The office staff are very kind and accommodating. The moving fellows treat me and all my things with care and respect. They work very hard and efficiently.
I can highly recommend this company for all your moving needs!

We had a wonderful moving experience with Priestley and Sons. Everyone we worked with, from our initial contact to when the moving truck left our new home, was friendly and knowledgable. The moving estimate was spot on and there were no hidden or unexpected charges. Our movers, Marty and Chris, arrived right on time and started loading the truck immediately. They both were highly skilled, hard working, and fast! They arrived at our new home, which was 2 hours away, at the agreed time the next day and once again got right to work unloading. We were very impressed with the care they took with our belongings. We highly recommend Priestly and Sons Moving and especially Marty and Chris as movers.

This review is six months late! My mom hired them in January to move her from one city to another. While following the truck, she was in a rollover crash. The movers had no idea. They unloaded her stuff, tried to wait for her, then locked up her place, and left without payment. I found out about the accident hours later from the hospital, and called them after hours. Jonathon the manager had waited around, he said he felt like something must have happened. When I mentioned that her cat was missing, he called me back later from his personal number to let me know he had checked with the movers and confirmed that she had him in the car with her, and he hoped I found him. I would use them based solely on my experience with Jonathon, he was very kind. (And yes, I found the cat... six weeks later. He somehow escaped the accident without any lasting injuries.)

Priestley and Sons is BY FAR the best packing and moving company I’ve ever used, and I have moved cross country multiple times. The expertise in packing china, glassware, serving dishes and other breakables especially stands-out - Arthur is a master at this! Too many times I’ve had broken items, but not this time. Plus both Mathew and Arthur labeled boxes in ways that makes sense, and allows you to prioritize which boxes to unpack first.
Priestly also did an excellent job of protecting the walls, stairs, floors of the house I was moving out of, and the house I moved into. And WOW did those guys hustle - no down time at all.
I HIGHLY recommend Priestly for smaller local trips (we used them for that too) as well as longer full-truck moves!

I've worked with many moving companies in the past, and after a very poor experience with the last two moving companies, I asked a friend who is a realtor for her recommendation. She highly recommended Priestly and Sons and I have to say I can see why she did: they're the best movers I've had the pleasure of working with. They're fast to respond on the phone, provide an in-person estimate, and their movers are friendly and professional. You can tell the movers know what they're doing and are very efficient. I am terrible with names and I wish I had written down everyone's names I worked with because they were all fantastic! Another reviewer said they'd give Priestly and Sons 10 stars if they could and I agree, I would do the same. You won't regret working with them!

Amazing experience. Marty and his guys did an incredible job moving my large antique furniture. I would expect nothing less from a man with 20 years of experience. He even thanked me for removing the glass from my great grandmother's hutch. Big tip to anyone reading this; if you want your movers to take extra care of your stuff, do a little bit of the disassembly yourself
Chris did an awesome job explaining all of the details of the move and pricing. Oregon has some weird laws. But you are not only paying for the time here. You are paying for the experience and care that comes with hiring this team.
Now, I can't remember the name of the woman with the gorgeous voice, but she was able to squeeze me in on the day I needed things moved which kept me on schedule for moving out of my old place and into my new one.
I want to thank the entire team at Priestly & Sons. Y'all rock!

Back in May 2023, I called Priestley and Son's moving and storage for an estimate on a June move. It was a bit high for my budget. These guys went over and beyond to make it affordable and easy for me. They gave me (used but really good) boxes, lots of packing paper and tape, Free of charge. Yes, I had to pack 98% of the stuff myself, but I was already 3/4 of the way done. The guys showed up on time, had a great work ethic, had me moved in a few short hours, nothing broken or missing. By the time they were done it was half the price of the quote! Thanks guys..

Today I had my move to a new place and I was so happy that Priestley Brothers were my professional movers. Marty and Curtis are kind, and care about your items and what was so AMAZING was that they helped me to relax with their confidence and professionalism. They definitely went above and beyond the normal move. They placed my clothes in wardrobe boxes, my wall hangings were wrapped up carefully, and any lose drawers were wrapped in cellophane, everything arrived safely and nothing was damaged. They know what they’re doing. If I ever move again I will definitely call Priestley Brothers. I’m absolutely happy with my move and how it was handled. Thank you.

I highly recommend Priestley & Sons for moving and storage. I had a wonderful experience from my first contact with them. They are professional, accommodating, easy to work with, reasonable and the staff was always professional and polite. Moving is no day at the beach and Priestley made an otherwise difficult experience easy on me.

We used Priestley and Sons twice to move our furniture. The first time they stored it for 4 months until our remodel was complete. The movers are courteous and careful and we appreciated their efforts. I would not hesitate to call them again.

We used Priestley and sons to move us out of one home and in to storage and called on them again to get us out of storage and in to a new home. I enjoyed working with Arthur, Matthew, and Jordan. They were patient with us in our indecisiveness. They actually moved a few things more than once without complaint. There was no damage whatsoever. I would use them again.

This is the second move I've made with help from Priestley and Sons. The first went so well that, when the time came to return to Gresham, I didn't want to look elsewhere. They arrived promptly and with three men were able to quickly loadt my small one-bedroom apartment with minimal furniture but a huge number of boxes. The unloading and set up was done equally smoothly. It cost about a grand to move me from Woodburn to Gresham but, as an old woman in poor health, moving myself was absolutely not an option and this was money well spent. I had wanted to move houseplants in my car myself but the movers offered to take them in the truck. The plants did receive some damage and so I wished I'd stuck to my guns BUT the silver lining was that I then had room in my car to bring the contents of my refrigerator. Considering that the Wednesday following my Monday move Gresham received more snow than we'd seen since 1943, I was glad to have food in the house! I absolutely would not hesitate to recommend this company -- they're tops!
