Massive gym with a lot of really high quality equipment that isn’t all crammed together. Price is fair, clean individual bathrooms is a huge plus. Best gym in Gresham hands down!

Tested out gym with overly priced $15 day pass (only $5 at planet fitness👍) to get feel for if it's potential good gym to join. I was extremely disappointed. Expensive gym with no private showers? No lounge with TV? There are so many other gyms with more amenities and lower cost. The dark demonic color scheme matches the cruelty of some of male staff. They act like bullies and I was socially profiled in severe way. They are mean. This place is not positive, inclusive, or friendly. I will be joining much better gym. Reviews by Jason D and A B are 100% correct about how you will be treated.

We, joined Snap Gresham in November of 2022 and were required to pay a deposit of $25, for a scan card to get into the building since it’s not always staffed. We were told it would be refunded when the card was returned. However, when we canceled our membership in, September of 2025 we were told that their policy is to give seniors (insurance-paid membership) back only $12. Talking to other members leaving the gym, some were told that seniors don’t get any deposit refunded and others, although it took a couple of months, said they did get the full amount.
When I informed Snap that Medicare would start paying for my membership, they informed me, as did Silver Sneakers, that I would pay nothing not even the yearly maintenance fee. This was true for 2 years. But in 2024 a charged of $35 showed up on my card. After getting Silver Sneakers involved I was finally able to get the money back. My husband was charged in 2025, and the owner, instead of admitting that seniors do not have to pay the maintenance fee, she stated why they charge the fee. He ended up disputing the charge with the credit card company and got the money back.
They also put in a new rule that if seniors don’t use the gym enough times each month (the number of times depends on which insurance program you have), you will be charged.
For the first couple years, all was well. The class was made up of mostly seniors who wanted an intense workout. The instructors were friendly, caring, professional and knowledgeable, they gave us the push we needed to do our best. Always taking into account our abilities and correcting our form when needed. This was enough to keep us coming. In March 2025 they made a change to move the circuit class we were doing on Fridays to inside the classroom. Reasons we were given”to benefit the current and future members as well as staying relevant.” Not sure what that means. The class was not the same when moved into a room. Ironically, during our last month they moved the same circuit class back out on the floor, only this time it will be a pay-to-use class. No mention of what the price will be.
Unfortunately, instructors, format, and classes have been changed or canceled.
We moved to a different gym that is… transparent, treated with respect by owners/staff and has more amenities for a lower price.
So, for all the reasons above we can’t recommend Snap Fitness anymore.

I’ve worked out at many different gyms in my life and Snap Fitness Gresham hits different. The staff are always so helpful and welcoming without being overbearing and the members create a friendly, chill atmosphere that makes working out enjoyable and gives it that neighborhood feeling. You can tell that the owner, Kim, takes a lot of pride in her business and works hard to create a safe and supportive culture for both members and staff.
Special shoutout to Matt, one of the master personal trainers on staff, whom I’ve had the pleasure of training with for the past 5 months. He’s knowledgeable, motivating, and knows how to push me to give my maximum effort while still having fun. The physical and psychological benefits of consistent workouts with a trainer I trust and truly like as a person are noticeable. I’ve been able to accomplish personal fitness goals that I have been working toward for years and, thanks to Matt, have enjoyed every step of the process.

Snap Fitness Gresham is such a welcoming and inviting gym. Been going here for a few years now and all the staff are always welcoming and sharing a smile. Much different then the previous gyms I’ve been apart of in the past

The price of the gym this gym is high compared to other gyms in the area that offer the same price but more amenities. I was able to overlook that however because they had some great instructors and I have been working out with the same group of people for 5 years. However the attitude and behavior of the owner and management has made me move on to a different gym and leave my friends.
I was overcharged due to a gym mistake that they were aware of. However I was told the onus was on me to notice and correct it. When I also voiced my opinion that I thought it was unfair for them to put classes that were previously available to members that had been accessing for years behind a paywall, I was talked down to. I could go on and on but that's just a taste of why I ended up leaving. So many better gyms in the area that have amenities like pools and basketball courts and I'm paying less now than I was at snap.

When I first decided to go back to the gym I chose Snap Fitness because it was the closest to me but then I started thinking I needed a personal trainer, not only to teach me how to use the equipment but also for accountability. I was a bit reluctant at first but finally pulled the trigger and I am so happy that I did.
I met Dylan in February and we’ve been meeting twice a week ever since. He’s an amazing personal trainer and is great at keeping me motivated. He’s always pushing me to do more while also keeping it fun. I look forward to every session and feel like I have made great progress so far, I couldn’t have done it without him!!

When I first walked into Snap Fitness Gresham, I had very little experience with working out. I didn’t know how to use most of the machines, I wasn’t sure where to start, and honestly, I was a little intimidated.
But then I met Matt Osterling. He is an incredible personal trainer who guided me step by step through not only fitness, but also personal goals. Matt took the time to teach me how to use the equipment, build confidence, and create a workout routine that works for me. He’s very knowledgeable and passionate about fitness
Snap also offers group classes like Pilates and Metkon are energetic, challenging, and a ton of fun. Whether you're looking to build strength, improve endurance, or just move your body more, there’s something for everyone.
The best part that I love about this gym is the atmosphere at Snap Fitness Gresham is always positive, uplifting, and welcoming, perfect for someone just starting out like me.
If you're looking for a place where beginners are supported, trainers and friends that support you, and results start happening, Snap Fitness Gresham is it.
Come try it out. Trust me, you won’t regret it.

Happened to use the location in happy valley today. The Gresham location is much better/cleaner. Variety of equipment is better in Gresham. Less damaged equipment in Gresham.
My only ask for the Gresham location: can we PLEASE lower the air temperature? Even overlooking all the issues I had at the happy valley location- I almost want to drive the extra 15 minutes to go there because the temperature was a good 5 degrees cooler inside than Gresham’s location typically is. I was able to get a good workout in about 15 minutes less than usual because I wasn’t constantly overheated.
If Gresham Snap can fix this it will be superior in every way to the Happy Valley Snap
