Sold me a damaged car that has cost me weeks of missed work and hundreds of dollars. They clearly knew it was a lemon and now I’m stuck with not only a car payment, but thousands of dollars in missed work.Services: Electrical repair

TL;DR - Take your vehicle anywhere else but here. If you must take your vehicle here, decline any and all "recommendations", "suggestions", and/or "proposals". And start looking for a brand of vehicle you prefer more than Toyota. The reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is that they actually, accurately, did complete the service I had originally brought my vehicle in for (30,000 mile service).I took my 2020 Tacoma 4wd in at 9:30am for the factory 30,000 mile service at a cost of $700 dollars. That is a fair price and within the industry standard. I also asked them to repair the heater as it had recently quit working (fully aware that this would be an additional cost).1. They charged me $199 to "diagnose" the heater problem, and then another $199 to fix it. (The fan housing had become dislodged and needed to be moved back in to place. No parts, just labor. How much labor? I don't know.) If the repair cost $200, $300, $400, or $500; so be it - I am not a mechanic obviously. My complaint is that they didn't need to "diagnose" it. I told them that it was broken and I wanted it fixed.2a. I received a phone call from the service REP at 1:30pm stating that the TECH "recommended" (which I inferred as "not immediately required, but eventually will be necessary") that I have the Power Steering flushed and the "fuel injection and throttle body serviced" (I want to emphasize: "fuel injection and throttle body" were presented as a single service.) I thought this was strange because I never had any of those services performed on my three previous Tacomas (each of which I put over 100,000 miles on). But based on how and where I sometimes drive, and the fact that it has been 3 years since the last time a Certified Toyota Dealer had inspected my truck, I said "Let's get it taken care of." Power Steering: $180, Fuel Injection: $200, Throttle Body (which was originally presented as one-and-the-same as Fuel Injection): $112.2b. On the invoice, the language was "Customer requests fluid exchange..." "Customer requests..." etc. I approved them, but I didn't "request" them. They were recommended to me (why exactly?), but I did not "request" them.My vehicle was ready at 4:00pm. When I picked it up the total was $1,617.88. Not a couple hundred over the estimate, but DOUBLE the original. I feel this was all a textbook "upsell". I was overcharged for the heater repair, the exigency and importance of the power steering and fuel injector (and throttle body) cleaning were misrepresented.Enjoy your extra $900 Swickard. I won't be on your lot ever again; for a purchase or service. After 28 years of owning Tacomas, the Nissan Frontier and Ford Ranger are looking like better options.

Gresham Toyota used to be great, with the takeover from the new managing company, their prices are outrageous. Tonkin had the same official Toyota Part for $150, Gresham wanted $180, for no apparent reason other than more profit. Service cost more and everything, sadly I'll probably be going to the other Toyota dealership now

They kept our vehicle Saturday to Tuesday. Never was told they were keeping it. No one communicated this or that they are closed Sundays. Garrett did take care of us and was apologetic. Must have been a fluke and we fell through the cracks. But, still no excuse to keep our car over the weekend without letting us know

Gresham Toyota's Sales Staff are great, Service Staff not so much. In June of 2023, they added $154 oil change to our "FREE Intermediate Maintenance" that came with the purchase of our fleet vehicle. The oil change is NOT included in this service, and it was added without authorization from myself or the driver. This was brought to the manager Garrett's attention, as soon as we became aware of it, and we have yet to receive any form of compensation.Once we reach a proper resolution, I will edit my review to reflect that outcome.

I brought my car in for routine service oil change and tire rotation, when the tax checked me out after service she informed me that I was going to need a new serpentine belt, new brake drums and two new tires. I was already aware of the tires and had no intention of paying Gresham Toyota $700 for two tires for a subcompact car. The serpentine belt however had already been replaced and I questioned her on the serpentine belt and she replied that maybe it's not an oem part. I don't care what you say about OEM Park apart is built to specification for your vehicle especially when it comes to things like a serpentine belt so I'm certain a serpentine belt did not suddenly wear out just one month after I installed it. Also they said I needed the drum brakes and they wanted me to spend 441 for drum brakes on my car. I already declined and took my car to another mechanic to have it checked and found that there were no mechanical issues with my brakes whatsoever. It makes it hard to go to a place to have my car service to our supposed to know how to take care of my car and it seems like they really the only reason they're there for is try to upsell and add more unnecessary labor and parts in order to Garner more money from my bank account. I do not know how these people sleep at night but it looks like I'm going to have to find someone else's service my car.

Bought a new 4runner from this location, every time I bring it in for service something is wrong by the time I get home. First time missing hub cap on rear wheels. Second time they check cabin air filter and drop debrie into the fan. They even try to get me to pay for something they did. I 100% do not recommend them.

This review is for the parts department. They are great. They know what parts your looking for and always make sure you have everything you need for the job. If they don't have it. They can most likely get it the next day.
