Hours: The Shoppe of Shalom is an Olde Thyme shop located not too far off the beaten path on the back country roads of Oregon. It is a very unique and surprising store with a huge variety of high quality goods in a pleasant, clean, and well-organized atmosphere. The shop carries all the accoutrements for hearth and home, including books, food, fabrics, cooking supplies, music, seeds, knickknacks, and many unusual items. Their selection ranges from 50 lb sacks of flour and sugar to sliced deli cheeses, kitchen gadgets, sewing and quilting supplies, gifts, and art supplies. A lot of the items, including phenomenal cookbooks and unique food gifts like amazing apple pie, are made and produced by various Mennonite farms. The owners and employees are wonderful folk who are extremely friendly, polite, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They care about their customers, spend extra time to assist, and are very keen on pure foods with no chemicals. They offer high quality bulk foods like bread flour and oatmeal for far less than a regular store, making it an excellent stop for perusing and purchasing.
