One of the last affordable thrift shops in Portland! I needed a last minute Halloween costume, so I stopped in to Deseret, and they had the goods! In fact I saw many spirit halloweeen costumes on their rack still in the package for $10! Thanks again Deseret!

Buyer beware, used to be my favourite thrift store, now they raised prices, things that were .50 cents are now $1.50 and not even worth the .50 cents, used dolls and stuffies are $6 to $7 each ?♀️. Nothing for even a dollar, lowest priced item I could find was $1.50 on donations. Tried calling, no one ever answers the phone, was going to donate a huge pile of stuff, but with the inflated prices on donations, will find a better place to give and shop. Raising prices 300% is a very bad business decision, place will now be a museum, where discarded items just pile up on the shelves, never selling. Plastic cups from dollar tree, shouldn't be $1.50 each at a thrift store, but they are here.Thrift stores are supposed to be that thrifty, not more than you could buy new. Very disappointed in Desert Industries

Always clean and organized well. The prices are really all over the place. They are a little bit overpriced on video games, records, cassette tapes, and electronics. The clothing is washed before they sell. This is really nice extra step for a thrift store. Employees seem kind and respectful.

The prices are so good here. I love looking for books especially. The air freshener is a little overwhelming but everything else about this place is great. The employees are always very nice.

One of my favorites! Much better prices than Goodwill and great selection of clothes.

Although smaller than Goodwill, I prefer Deseret because they have better prices and their fitting rooms are open.

Pretty good prices, especially for clothing. My recent visit was very fragrant... Would ask that the business be more air-aware and use less air fresheners/smelly cleaning products.

There are some good items here. Like many thrift stores, you have to dig for them. The prices fluctuate depending on the brand (ex: Pendleton vs. Faded Glory). One star lost because the store has a weird fruity smell, way too hot, and stuffy. Good prices and the staff are pleasant.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The prices are reasonable, the selections are great (kind of eclectic) and as far as the non goodwill thrift stores I'd put this one as the best in all of Portland. Lighting is kind of drab but if that's the biggest complaint I've got.

I cut my hand on one of the hangers and when I asked for a bandage so I could stop bleeding and continue shopping they told me they would not give me a bandate it was against company policy. I had to leave in order to not bleed on the merchandise and continue shopping.

Great selection for boys and menswear (suits too), luggage, womenswear and cheap priced furniture of excellent quality. Clean place, well organized and friendly staff. I take my growing kids here and replaced some furniture.
