Cashiers don’t tell you you’re signing up for a recurring fee of $11 every month when you sign up with them at checkout, then FYE makes it as difficult as they can to cancel the charge. I assumed I was signing up for a rewards account or something similar when it was being explained to me & was never once told there’d be a recurring fee involved. DO NOT sign up for anything at checkout. In fact, just avoid the store entirely. FYEs business practices take advantage of both yours & their workers ignorance.

They had some items in a clearance bin, and one of them had a sticker price on the tag and they wouldn't honor that price. Wouldn't recommend going there unless you like being scammed :)

I visited last night 8/18 around 7pm and while checking out, the man at the register asked me for my email for 10% off. I gave it, thinking it was just one of those quick email marketing signups. He then asked me for my zip code, phone number, address, and date of birth. I started feeling a little weird about the amount of information but figured if I was signing up for something more serious than a free store account/profile, he'd let me know. Just in case, I asked him if whatever I was signing up for was free. He said it was free for the first month and then I would be charged. I asked him if this was something I would have to cancel myself and he confirmed. It seemed as if he was NOT going to tell me this information and only did so because I specifically asked. I told him that I was not interested. After I checked out, he made no attempt to try any of this on my boyfriend who checked out after me because he'd obviously overheard this conversation. It felt very disingenuous. This feels like a clear scam, either avoid this store if possible or make sure you're providing no personal information at checkout.

They don't honor clearance prices listed on the product itself. They tell you someone else forgot the first number in the price. Will spend my money elsewhere.

Had a really upsetting experience at the Clackamas Town Center FYE. My teenage son, who is transitioning, was judged and mocked by an employee (Andrea) for his outfit — she made loud, inappropriate comments comparing him to the “trench coat mafia” and then ignored us at the register, helping someone behind us instead.
When I asked for a manager, the assistant manager was kind and acknowledged the behavior was wrong, but Andrea’s treatment of my son was unacceptable. Discrimination like this should have no place in retail. We won’t be returning.

Jedi, I believe his name was, is one of the most transparent and knowledgeable employees I've ever met. He asked all the right questions and offered the perfect recommendations when it came to picking out my son's next Xbox game. We narrowed it down to 2 choices and went with star wars outlaws . My son is super happy. If FYE didn't have guys like him around they'd probably go broke, with Jedi's personality and quick-witted humor I imagine there's quite a bit of sales he helps generate. No pressure, great recommendations, and straight to the point.
This man deserves a raise, is by far some of the best staff in the Clackamas Town Center. Hopefully I can catch him every time I need to pick something out, he's hip to the kid things.

Like previous reviews, these guys are still signing up people for their “loyalty program” which turns out is a paid monthly subscription service. Did they ever mention this during sign up? NO, all they asked was “Do you want to save 10% on today’s purchase?” How predatory.
Now I have to waste time out of my day to cancel this membership that I didn’t ask for.

Had the greatest experience recently. My son was looking for a particular figure and Tyson took the time to look for it in store and in the back. He found what we were looking for and have us a discount due to the box having some damage from shipping. Tyson provided great customer service and is a great employee!
