About Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette
Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette is a non-profit organization that operates retail stores, outlet locations, and online shopping sites. Their mission is to provide vocational opportunities to people with disabilities as well as others with barriers to employment. The organization takes pride in being good environmental stewards through their award-winning recycling and salvage operations, which are funded by customer donations and purchases. Customers have had mixed experiences at the Goodwill stores. While some report finding great bargains and a helpful staff, others have noted higher prices compared to other Goodwill locations. The selection of items can vary, with some stores having a greater focus on clothing and household items than tools and electronics. Some customers have also expressed concerns about the treatment of homeless individuals by the security guards. Overall, Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette aims to create job opportunities and support the community through its retail operations and job services programs. While the customer experience may vary, the organization's commitment to its mission and environmental sustainability remains a key focus.
Great selection. Prices are ridiculously high. Hard pass on returning. There were quite a few items I would have bought if they were not so expensive. Goodwill would actually sell more and make more money if items were reasonably priced. Everything I wanted was like $20 and up. For used items!

The prices at this specific goodwill are high. Who wants to buy used puzzles for $6-7 if you don’t know if all the pieces are there. I’ve also noticed they stick the goodwill tag over the target clearance tag that was clearly for less. It’s to bad. I’ll donate and shop somewhere else.
