I'm going to blame the issue I had on my age. I'm elderly and anything technical will sometimes throw me off my game. I've been with this credit union since 1990, when it was known as Telco. I never used their regular app. I use their website to do all my banking, pay bills, etc. I also had their "card guard" ... which was an app which, they recently notified me, was going away and being absorbed by their regular app. I downloaded the app. When I went to delete the card guard app, it informed me all data associated with it would be deleted. I thought this was great and deleted it. Then, my Visa card was declined. Spoke first with Phil, who informed me I should have locked or deleted my credit card off the old app before I deleted it! I think Unitus could have shared that little bit of wisdom with their customers because it was then impossible to do anything about it. We could not download the old app again. It was gone forever. Phil transferred me to "customer service" where I became extremely frustrated with the person because she did not comprehend what my problem was. I gave up, hung up and called back the original number. Reached Marla. We played around with locking and then unlocking my credit card but when my card was declined again, she advised the only thing to do was to reissue my cards. The fastest way to do this was to visit my branch ASAP. Next morning, went into the Happy Valley branch of Unitus and met a lovely gal by the name of Evinne. I hope I spelled that correctly. She issued my new cards and because I did not know how to use an ATM, she walked outside with me and showed me how. That was so very kind of her! I have never had any problems with this branch. Everyone has always been helpful and kind every time I've gone in there. I will continue to do business with them as long as I am able. Thank you Unitus!

I dont understand why my original review was removed but i wanted to wrote a review for Heloc application in this location. Moderator said i couldn't review twice now I repost my review again only for this location. They really wasting my time. The underwriters process is so slow and seems that no one working on the loan, keep calling then for update finally the assistant manager call back with some silly regulatory that no one heard, that the rental income have to be divided by half because your husband is in the tax return!! What a stupid rules that no lender ever have. Wasting my time and really not upto date with the technical loan rules. Dont go to them for loans.

Joshua was fantastic! My wallet had been stolen and Joshua blocked my old card, created a new card in-the-spot, and directed me through steps to add even more security features to minimize any potential vulnerabilities should the perpetrator make impersonation attempts at any Unitus location. Amazing customer service!!

When calling this bank it's requesting my account number, after putting my account number the automated machine says I'm putting in an invalid input. Get rid of this junk.

We worked with Unitus to get a mortgage loan and couldn’t be happier. Michelle Hollenbeck was our agent and was great to work with. As first-time buyers, she made everything easy to understand, was super responsive, and worked seamlessly with our agent. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Im so disappointed in Unitus. I have been with them a long time and their customer service has significantly decreased over the last few years. The Branch at Cedar Mill in Beaverton has completely lost my trust and confidence. I needed a notary document for a loan and they completely dropped the ball and then when I asked for help to fix it. They told me what to do and I went theough all these steps to find out it wasn't a solution it was just something the employee thought would work. so i spent two days running around getting a new document signed and notarized for nothing. when i told them their was no apology just met with a blank stare. And then they told me they did not know green path procedure. Then why would you tell me what I needed to do and have me run around for two days if you didnt know. I currently have my mortgage with them and will be moving it as soon as possible. It's just been one thing after another. So disappointing.

Things have been running smoothly until I paid off my auto loan. After a month I decided to call in after I hadn't received the title. Turns out despite updating my address and using that address on my loan application 3 years ago, they mailed the title to an apartment I haven't lived in for 5 years.
No explanation as to why this happened or an apology. They're sending a lien release and expect me to deal with their error and pay the DMV for a new title. Thanks guys...

My family has been using Unitus for 30+ years. I’ve been using Unitus myself for 29 years. Removing the review plaques from the main area, and depersonalizing the buildings decor… Is not actually upgrading.
The reason why many business owners use Unitus credit union is because of the personalized experience and that it doesn’t feel like every other bank.
It’s one thing to rebrand, that’s fine. But stripping the community out of your location is the problem.
I’m disappointed in the depersonalization Unitus has done. Not everything shiny and new is good.
Management reading the review, you do have a say and making people feel appreciated is what makes Unitus different. It’s important that you continue that.

I use to like Unitus, but their service and products, have been declining like crazy over the past year or so. Their new debit cards barely work. I can't even withdraw money from a non Unitus ATM without it being flagged as fraud. Which is very inconvenient. They have almost no locations/ATMs. So not being able to get MY MONEY out at another ATM is very frustrating. I definitely think that after almost 15 years with Unitus, that I'll probably have to move on. This company clearly doesn't care about customer satisfaction or their product.

Convenient enough location but the drive thru ATM is working about as much as the shake machine at a McDonalds.
