The only pharmacy for miles around that the VA can use for urgent matters and they don't have any weekend hours. I've never heard of such any where. This sure is the Wild West, there is always something ridiculous to surprise me.

They are a good place to shop when you don't want to go into big store but still are in need !

I always enjoy my local Rite Aid store. They have a wide selection of homeopathic remedies that I prefere taking. The staff is always pleasant and helpful.

We were in Brookings the end of July when my husband needed a prescription. We mistakenly went to Fred Meyer first. They were not helpful. We went to Rite Aid and the pharmacist was extremely nice and so was the assistant. They got medication from our local pharmacy within a couple hours. Fast forward to today. We need that same medication transferred back to our local. Our pharmacy didn’t have it so I called and again a nice lady said they sent it already and would send it again! She even said call back if it doesn’t work and I’ll do it manually!!! This Rite aid is awesome!

I was delighted at the service I received from Germaine and Terri at this Pharmacy. Another Pharmacy in town told me they could not fill my prescription because they were short-handed. Terri called and had my prescription transferred and filled very quickly. Germaine suggested that I used GoodRX which saved me money. I really appreciated the good service I received!

On Friday, July 1, 2022, I went to the Rite Aid Pharmacy in Brookings/Harbor Oregon to pick up my wife's prescription. She takes a generic opiod. The clerk/pharmasist assistant told me that my insurance would not pay for it and to come back on Sunday, July 3rd to pick it up. I was initially upset because this pharmacy has been a M-F operation so, I thought that I would have to wait until July 5th to pick it up. I was informed and pleasantly surprised to learn that they were now open 7 days a week. So, I came back today, Sunday, July 3rd to pick up her prescription. The Pharmasist told me that they would have to order it and, since Monday is a holiday the soonest they could order it would be Tuesday, July 5th and that the orders take a day to arrive, etc. It seems to me that if you direct someone to come in on a specific day, you then have an obligation to have the product available. Clearly that is not the standard/common practice/common courtesy this Rite Aid Pharmacy meets. This pharmacy went through some difficult times a while back which led me to transfer our prescriptions to Fred Meyer. I recently tried to switch back. Bad idea. The original prescription was for 60 pills. The pharmacy only had 40 so I had our doctor write a prescription for the 40 on hand and another for 20 to be picked up later. After only being able to get 40, I should have run out the door. No more will I deal with Rite Aid incompetence. Good luck if you continue to use them.

I had to pick up a prescription for my elderly brother in law that has Covid. There were problems with his doctors office getting the prescription called in to Rite Aid. So I spent two days at the pharmacy waiting to get his medicine. I have to give props to the pharmacist and the tech, both were extremely kind, understanding and helpful. It's so rare these days to encounter such pleasant people. I will definitely tell anyone and everyone not to waste time spending an hour in line at Fred Meyer when you can get fast, top notch service at Rite Aid Pharmacy in Brookings. AAA+++

Be forewarned, THE PHARMACY IS ONLY OPEN ON WEDNESDAYS! I am from out of town and had no idea the posted pharmacy hours online would be so far off and had an RX sent to Brookings, OR Rite Aid only to learn when I went to pick it up that I'd have to wait 5 days to do so. This is not a new schedule and I believe it only right that Rite Aid fix the hours posted online to reflect reality.

well it is now December 29th and no one from rite aid has responded to my prior post and review . I have two medications awaiting to be filled at this location . I cannot transfer them since they are not open and no one from their corporate offices have stepped in to clean up this mess . Great customer service and to think I transferred my medications to Rite Aid from Walgreens , what a mistake . My 85 year old mom had medications at this location awaiting to be filled and her doctor , after a two week wait, had to write new prescriptions to be filled at Fred Meyer . Come On Rite Aid , you can do much better . You took no action to assist your loyal customers knowing that your staff quit ; great job.!!. Please have someone from your corporate office transfer my medications to another local pharmacy . Sooner or later one of your customers will file suit once they they have an adverse reaction for being without a needed medication and if the delay caused harm to my elderly mom , I am the customer that will be filing suit . Either be proactive and fix this mess or be reactive to the legal process . One star is too generous .

I know major issues. I switched my prescriptions to Postal Pharmacy Service (Kroger) that will mail your prescriptions to you. I went this route since I don't like waiting in line for anything and I think Fred Meyer has it's hands full at this point. I don't understand why Rite Aid can't order your prescription from one of the other pharmacies and mail it to you.

The store is finally getting it together. Apparently Oregon has some crazy rule that a pharmacist from California, which has great pharmacists, can't work in Oregon without Oregon Credentials. Yikes!! Bad idea Oregon. The store is better stocked now, the staff is amazingly good humored and it's a pleasure to visit. I have recently has employees go out of their way to help me find what I needed. Can't wait to cut Fred Meyer pharmacy loose!

Unbelievable unprofessional store. One star is too much. Rite Aid advertises itself as a pharmacy, and a place to get vaccines, flu shots, Etc. However, THIS Rite Aid has no pharmacist at all. For over two years they have struggled to staff their pharmacy. They are a local joke. Now they claim no one wants to work there. Here's an idea: pay people. They have a visiting pharmacist on Wednesdays at the moment, but don't expect any kind of service from this place. Don't bother using their online prescription or vaccine services, the store claims they never get those things (a lie, they tried canceling people's vax appointments a few times, then just claimed they never got them). The manager blames corporate for everything. Avoid at all costs.

Wow, waited in line for 1 hour today, the lady behind me passed out, fell onto the floor, hit her head and an ambulance was called, when is your company going to do something about this?? I went in today, and the medicine I ordered2 weeks ago still was not filled, another wait. One can't call in your prescription, its a disaster and I feel for the kind people working in your pharmacy. I plan on taking my business elsewhere as your company is ultimately to Blame for this chaos, your staff in the front was all standing chatting when I entered your store, why aren't they helping????? I wonder when you'll do something to help besides continually advertise how wonderful your store is. You lost my business all the way,
