Detering Orchards is a spacious and clean farm with friendly staff and very reasonable prices. It offers a nice selection of fresh and preserved goods, local honey and jams, and free fruit samples. Activities include U-pick options for cherries and other fruit, a traditional pumpkin patch with a corn maze and rides, a cute play structure for kids, and goats to feed. The facility is well-maintained with plenty of parking, though it can be very busy on nice weekends. It is recommended to check their Facebook for monthly events and call ahead before visiting. They open for the season on June 1st.
Lived here forever, my first time visiting! The cherries are incredible at the time of this posting, peaches aren't quite ready yet. Really nice folks, super friendly!

I visited this place for the first time today and picked some cherries! The farm is spacious and clean, and the owner lady was super kind. The prices were also really reasonable! They seem to have events every month, so I recommend checking their Facebook for updates. Also, it’s a good idea to call ahead before you go.... read full comment
