I bought a puppy in October and he had ringworm really bad. Patches of fur missing with scaly skin. I bought another puppy 4 days ago. She has parvo. I cannot get another dog for a while because my house and yard will be covered in parvo. First dog might have it as well because it’s highly contagious.

This rescue is absolutely amazing! The level of care, compassion, and dedication they show to every animal is truly inspiring. It’s clear that their mission is all about finding the best possible homes for pets in need. If you’re looking to adopt or support a rescue that genuinely makes a difference, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Thought this was a good shelter for my family that i have loved for 4 years but I was completely wrong. I work nights and drove after work to a place i picked out and chose out of many options . I became homeless and made a difficult decision that my family deserved more than living in a truck . I payed the 200 for a surrender fee and felt rushed by a man who looked like he could care less about his job . On my way home i was questioning if i made the right decision with tears in my eyes . realizing id rather move to another state to have them in my life and to be able to keep them was something that I didnt think about until it was to late . I rushed back to the facility and made it with under 10 min to closing. I told the man I made a horrible mistake and would even pay the adoption fees to have them back. That was a joke to him and he laughed . I didnt dispose of my family like they were nothing . Living and building a life with them for that many years and having it all ripped apart withing a month has been a really difficult time . I have hundreds of videos and pictures from them being puppys all the way to the last 5 min before I surrender them.

My girls have had the opportunity to volunteer multiple times at Pet Rescue. They had such a positive experience learning to care for the animals. Thank you for providing such a great environment for kids to learn to serve in the community!

A star for all of my 5 awesome dogs! All from the rescue! I find it very interesting that anyone that isn't satisfied with this facility is just projecting their guilt for their own actions. I mean really!? If I gave up my dogs, and 30 minutes later I changed my mind? What does that say about me! Good for you Beau for protecting animals that obviously need it from fickle people that shouldn't be pet owners! How many times is that person going to change their mind? Dogs are not disposable and they deserve a good home. The rescue finds dogs a home with people that are responsible and care, people that deserve and want a pet, not people that treat animals like an inconvenience.

We adopted our dog from the Pet Rescue through the spay mom program. I am glad our community has kind hearted people to help take in abandoned and lost animals and find them homes. It is not an easy job but one that is very much needed and appreciated .
Please spay and neuter your pets and adopt not shop!

We've been lucky, blessed and fortunate to have found Eastern Oregon Pet Rescue. Its very true for us that pets can rescue us. We love our fur babies. The owner is knowledgeable and helpful and cares about the animals. As an animal lover, I am very grateful for their care and compassion when it comes to local strays. Hermiston is lucky to have them in our community. On a side note, I've also found a few treasures at their thrift store. It's a win win. Thank you EOPR!
