The customer service is non existent most of the time. There’s maybe 2 people in there that are nice. The rest answer the phone with the worst attitude and are the same at the counter. I just called to see if I had a prescription and I got a huge sigh as if I was the worst for making them do their job. I’ve used this pharmacy for years and it gets worse by the day.

Went in earlier this week to get a vaccine and was told they couldn't do it that day and was told to come in Thursday afternoon. Made an appointment for Thursday afternoon and called a couple hours later. FINALLY got through the busy signal and was told that they couldn't do it today and would have to come in on Monday. Why even have the online appointments if they can never give a vaccine. This is not the first time they have canceled on me. Last tome it was because the vaccine was expired!

Wait times are ridiculous call them they tell me my prescription we’ll be ready an hour 2 hours later I show up just for them to tell me they aren’t ready yet I have to wait another 30 minutes

This is by far the worst pharmacy to go to. I was told to come up to the drop off window and see the person about getting my meds. Mind you it was 6 pills. And yet I was ignored by the staff here until another one.. who clearly wasn’t feeling well decide to ask me if I had been helped yet. I said no. The lady I spoke with finally came to the drop off place and said we have them. When I called she had stayed go to the drop off window. Spent 1 hour waiting for my prescriptions only to leave.
Second time coming back I try to go to the window and clearly another person and I were ignored blatantly by the staff once again. This is the worst time pharmacy I have encountered and I would recommend that anyone coming here go somewhere else. Save the time and frustration and just go somewhere else. Ps…. I had another pharmacy for 10 years and mind you my wait was never for than ten minutes and they had twice the people that came there. I hate this place so much it’s like half the people working here don’t know how to do their job correctly and customer service completely sucks. Mind you only the pharmacy in Safeway sucks. So now going on 1 hour and 45 minutes for 6 pills. Ridiculous. I will be calling the manager tomorrow to talk to them.

It's impossible to get through to the pharmacy via their phone number - it always has a busy tone. I've never experienced a pharmacy that doesn't have a multiline phone system. When you end up going in to ask a question, you have to wait in a 15+ min line. You will also get multiple texts that your prescription is ready for pickup, but when you go to pick it up, after waiting in said line, the prescription won't be ready yet. I'm trying to change pharmacies but neither I nor my new pharmacy can get through on the phone to request my prescriptions be transferred.

They never answer their phone. It's a bad look. It’s a worse look when you have to drive 30 miles and show up in person just to ask a simple question. And the look gets worse when someone snidely says “do you want a job answering phones?” As though answering the phone isn’t part of HER JOB DESCRIPTION.
I called 4 other locations in the area and every other Safeway pharmacy answers their phone. Hermiston Safeway pharmacy thinks answering the phone is a special role that requires a special position and they are not obligated to answer it. I hope management catches wind of this because it’s trash.

Unfortunately the Pharmacy doesn't honor vaccination appointments made on their own website. Apparently you are supposed to call the pharmacy anyway to confirm which defeats the whole point of taking appointments online! The woman was rude when I asked to provide feedback on this organization dysfunction. One part of the company is obviously not talking to other parts.

Safeway pharmacy hermiston is one of the lousiest pharmacies I've ever dealt with. My prescriptions were sent in 2 hours before I showed up and they still couldn't have my antibiotics ready. They told me it would be an hour longer mind you I went to see the doctor first thing this morning. I've had so many other problems with them as well. I'm going to be finding a new pharmacy. No I do not recommend Safeway pharmacy in Hermiston to anyone. I mean, how hard can it be to count out a few pills and put them in a GD bottle. I am very dissatisfied with the service at Safeway pharmacy in Hermiston.

This pharmacy has the worst customer service in Hermiston. Particularly a cashier today name Flor was the last straw. I will transfer all my prescriptions to a different pharmacy. Flor should not work with customers period. Her answer to any problem while rolling her eyes is, “This is not my fault, I’m just a cashier!” No one else is friendly to deal with either. But Flor is an idiot.

I called to see if my prescription was ready and was put on hold 4 different times and no I did not hang up the secretary took so long to answer it started ringing again and each time she answered she just put me on hold again
