Repairman was great but the Sears service sucks! My first call took 3 weeks for a repairman to be scheduled but he was overbooked so he didn't make it! He said he would come if he had a cancellation which he indicated frequently happened. Next thing I notice I've been rescheduled, another 3 weeks out. I stayed home all day again, I had another repairman here for my well pump. Apparently he showed up, but did not use the door knocker, probably used the non working doorbell. I have 3 dogs that are very noisy when someone comes to the door. They were quiet, so I had no idea the repairman showed up. I called again, eventually they issued another date for a repairman in 3 more weeks. So HORRIBLE service, took 9 weeks to get appliances repaired. A previous time I tried to get my main refrigerator repaired, but since it wasn't in the kitchen it wasn't covered, it wouldn't fit in the spot designated for a refrigerator so I put it in the dining room next to the kitchen. Who knew? The part was under warranty but I still had to get a repairman out here, which he was here the next day, not 3 weeks later! We had to get the part from the factory he was here to put it in the next day after I called to let them know it had arrived! AGAIN your service SUCKS!!!! The repairman was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and fairly quick, so I give him a 5 star, but your service seriously lacks! I would give it a 0 out of 5! I will NEVER recommend you to anyone, ever! I will certainly try to find another service! And I'm certainly going to post my frustrations with you on facebook!!!Facebook!!!! And any place else I can think of, I'm telling my local realtors how, awful you have been and recommend they do not recommend you to their new buyers! Yes, you have totally pissed me off!

Customer service sucks. They give you a 9 am to 7 pm time for the delivery time. No attempts were made to say they weren't coming. That happened twice. Postponed 3 times. I can see why the Sears by us closed down.

Purchased numerous items here, including a washer and dryer, several Craftsman tools, even my lawn mower. Excellent & eager staff. Friendly service.

I bought a vacuum cleaner that the salesman recommended for picking up dog hair. Every time I use the vacuum I have to pull out big clumps of dog hair because it gets clogged. After a few months of this, I took it back to the store in hopes of exchanging it for a better machine. I was told that I couldn't return it because I had bought it more than 90 days ago (which is fine, I understand return policies), but I could send it off to be serviced for FREE, as it was still under the one-year warranty. I sent it to be serviced, thinking it might have been a manufacturer's defect that was causing the constant clogging. The service department called and asked for $79.99 to unclog it and told me that model isn't designed for dog hair. When I refused to pay that much, the tech hung up on me. When I got the recorded call that my vacuum was back in the local store and ready for pickup, there was a $45 fee for the "servicing." I called the store and asked for an explanation, as I was told it's a standard diagnostic fee. I refused to pay it and the salesperson on the phone said I had no choice because they had already done the work. I asked for a manager or someone who I could talk to about removing the fee because there was nothing diagnosed and was told there was no one else to talk to. I'm going to go into the store to give it one more try in person to get the fee waived, but if they insist on charging me $45 for NOTHING, they can keep the machine. I'll put my money to better use and buy a functioning vacuum somewhere else. I'll never shop at this Sear's again and I'm going to tell as many people as I can get to listen about the terrible policies and lying salespeople there.
