Went into the Hermiston Verizon store to drop off phones for trade in because I had a few days left to drop them off. I spent over an hour waiting. I’m not sure if they’re understaffed, but it seems like they are and it seems like they like to take their time instead of focusing on getting customers in and out. I asked if it would be a lengthy process to drop my phones off and a lady told me yes it would take a while. When it was my turn it was as simple as resetting my phone and dropping it off. The hour I was waiting I could’ve easily reset my phone to drop off and been out the door quickly so that they can help other customers. The person that helped me was nice and helpful, but for what I needed done they could’ve easily have me reset on my own while I was waiting. There is no sense of urgency to help reduce the amount of customers in the store. I don’t mind paying a high amount for my Verizon account, but I would think with what they charge they would have excellent customer service. This place needs some help to implement processes to reduce waiting times for customers. From the reviews it seems like there are many frustrated customers. This place definitely needs to improve before people start taking their business else where.

An employee felt that he had the authority to release information about my personal information without permission outside of the business walls.Disrespectful..nor is this acceptable behavior in any workplace.and I did reach out the upper management. Corporate.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE (Verizon as a whole, 4 out of 5 stars) I believe that the Hermiston location is nothing but an ADA quota. Managers don't know how to run anything. They sit there and watch their new staff struggle, and when something goes wrong. They have zero ability to take responsibility. I went in to get a new phone. 2 hours after walking in and being charged $260 (Which Im not sure why they charged my card prior to any sale beimg made??) for case, screen protector, last payment, and for some reason paying them to switch over phones. I walk out with my same phone. The only thing they were able to complete was deactivating my current phone. So after watching the new guy struggle, the "Manager" instead of assisting, ran away to the back of the store (No help, never saw him again, till I came back.) I asked them to void the transaction and that I no longer have the time to stand here and wait for them to "attempt" to activate the new phone. Few weeks pass, I see that they still charged me 260, when I walked out with literally nothing. So I returned and I was told that my "refund" was submitted. They showed me a receipt for a $90 refund. I asked where the rest was. Turns out they were trying to charge upwards of $100 in "restocking fees" because they had to walk to the other end of the store. After arguing with the manager (Same guy that left before) and him trying to tell me "Well you just got mad and left." and me explaining that I only had so much time to get this done. He finally calls customer service because he didn't belive that he was to blame. While on the phone with customer service, the manager proceeds to lie about the previous interaction and when I interjected he rudely asked "Do you want to talk to them!?" So I did. And I told them the whole story. Customer services says that the store is responsible for the refund and I needed to talk with them. The manager then takes the phone from me and starts blaming the guy on the phone for the issues. After they got done arguing on the phone (The store still refusing to take ANY fault) the customer service rep was able to put the money back on my account towards my bill. PHONE CUSTOMER SERVICE, AMAZING! They wanted to be helpful. They wanted to work with me. Super nice guy on the phone! The actual store staff, useless, money hungry, no communication and a very clear absence of any sort of supervisor training. Verizon is not a bad company. The Hermiston location needs new managers, or just shut down. If you live in the area, save the hassle, go to tricities and deal with them. It is SO much better, cleaner, nice, and just HELPFUL.

If you just need to pay a bill, I'd get a different carrier.

Bad image left me from there. At all costs they tried to sell us the most expensive lines even and in their advertising it says that 5 lines for 30 dollars each. They said they didn't know anything about it.

The Verizon associates were very helpful in looking for a charger cord when we came in, however, not impressed with Verizon as a company no longer carrying specific charger cords. It's a shame to try to get people to HAVE to switch USB-C to USB-C. Instead of buying a new cord AND block. I went somewhere else.
