I was looking for locks to secure a traveling pistol case to get through airport security and they had a three pack of Master which did the trick and did not have long shanks so you cannot get that box open when the locks are latched

Took a drive into town to pick up a blower and get an item price matched. Associate (older woman) at the front refused and said Ace Hardware does not price match. It’s the only reason I took the drive, because online the policy says they do

There were 5 employees just chitchatting with each other when I asked for help. I not only got dismissed, there were 2 other couples verbalizing the same kind of treatment. Shame on you!

Smaller hardware store which is nice but limited selection. That being said I have always found what I am looking for for the small jobs around house.

If you're going to fix it, the parts need to match. Brian's experience was invaluable finding exactly what I needed and John's customer service from the store greeting to help with an exchange was excellent. You're not going to find this level of help at the big boxes.

Why do I default to the other big box store??? Definitely fell in love with this ACE for the wide variety of metric screws/bolts/ for my bike. Also has non-metric of course. And in other stuff like power test tools I checked out, it has Soo many options available and great friendly help.

I had a friend wreck an ATV while out riding and camping for a week. Was able to piece together some hardware to replace the thumb throttle. Nice they had such a great selection!

This is my 2nd time check online for a product that they said they have in stock, but they don't. They would have other brand of the same product with 30% more on price. I already don't come here often. Now I will never come again. I think that why people go to home depot.

We came here after Suburban Ace Hardware off of 185th couldn't properly match their own Benjamin Moore Essex green color. I needed a gallon and had the sample paint, which matched the swatch.They also had a hard time matching even when manually trying to match the sample paint while we waited 2 hrs. The color ended up being a Grey blue VS the dark green it was supposed to be. It's also $11 more expensive for the exact same gallon here VS Suburban Ace!I went to Home depot for them to color match, which they did, and for half the price for a premium gallon! |
