With Mia you can have “Southern California blonde” right here in Portland - using Goldwell products!! (A favorite for bright, glistening blondes). Mia is a Master at her craft. You just have to sit back and enjoy!! One of the few things Southern California gets very right is blonde hair. She trains there regularly and it shows. My hair hasn’t looked this naturally blonde since leaving LA years ago. She’s also an amazing and caring person. AND she can cuts beautifully as well. Just a rare find. Simply put - MIA is Hair nirvana

Mia saved the day!!! My hair had been butchered by another hairdresser in January and I had to wait 4 months, hiding my hair the best I could, to get enough length back. Mia understood the assignment really well, gave me advice on which cut would work with the length that I had and with my texture and I left her salon feeling pretty again!!! Thanks again

I’ve been going here for a few years now because of the relaxing salon environment and the nice staff but my experience last time was not what I was used to. I’m a low maintenance customer, I get a basic full head of black dye and straighten my hair. I left last time with a dye job that looked outgrown and didn’t cover my original hair color. I felt rushed out the door; my hair was frizzy and awful when I left her chair and I was in tears the second I was in the waiting room. I was embarrassed to go out in public afterwards and ended up going home immediately to redo everything myself. I was disheartened by this experience and I felt like I wasn’t heard at all. I am not sure if I will return again.

I'm a relatively new client, around 2 years. I initially came to this salon because it's close to home. So glad I did, as Melinda cuts my hair so beautifully. I get compliments on it all the time! Plus she's easy to chat with, always a bonus. I am considering moving this year, but no matter where I live, I'll drive however long it takes to keep Melinda as my stylist.
