About Amberglen Park North
Amberglen Park North is a beautiful and welcoming park that offers a peaceful setting for visitors and their dogs. The park features a lovely pond with two sections, a waterway that attracts many birds such as ducks, geese, red-winged blackbirds, swallows, and other waterfowl. Visitors often enjoy watching the flocks of birds land in the pond, especially during dawn, and some birds perch and sing, creating a lively and natural atmosphere. The park is well-equipped with several picnic tables, shaded areas, and benches, making it a great spot for picnics and relaxing outdoors. It also has an amphitheater-like terrace with steps overlooking the pond and a volleyball net for active visitors. The park is dog-friendly, allowing dogs on leashes to walk freely on its extensive grounds. Restroom facilities include two porta potties, one accessible and one regular. Year-round, the park is a vibrant place, especially in spring when it is filled with the scent of roses and birdsong. Despite some concerns about nearby urban development affecting the natural spaces and bird populations, Amberglen Park North remains a lovely, natural escape that offers scenic views, wildlife, and peaceful recreation.

I’ve lived near this park for almost 3 years. I’ve never knew it’s that amazing. Different kinds of birds, ducks, Canada geese and orange wings birds are everywhere specially by the water fountain and the lake.
