DO NOT PAY USING THEIR ONLINE PROCESSORUpon receiving the receipt, there’s a barcode to scan and pay online (includes additional fee) or to pay in cash (no fee). The processor company is SpotOn. I paid using Apple Cash and that payment method was shown on my online receipt from Amelia’s BUT I later realized it was charged to my debit card. It was odd because I do not use my debit card at all so I’m unsure how it was charged. My bank notified me of multiple unrecognized purchases 1 day after my visit to Amelia’s. Luckily my bank notified me so I could report the charges to my bank. My card information must have been accessed by someone at Amelia’s via the online processor SpotOn. This experience makes me lose trust in their payment system and integrity of their staff. The service of the waiter was not good as well, he was not pleasant and could not enjoy my meal. I didn’t not feel the service was valued for a tip and the waiter caused more discomfort upon paying for my small meal.

I ordered the chips and salsa, then the nachos. Although the chips were great, the Nachos were okay. They use cheese sauce instead of melted cheese, and it wasn't quite as good.

Food was served on wooden plates. That's was a new experience. Overall good quality food and faster service.

Look at your receipt . They automatically add 20% top and don’t give you the option to decide the tip. On the receipt there is a field for additional tip. What a scam and way to rip off your customer who have patronized you. We will not be back and the service was the worst and the portions are small for what you get. Be aware if you go here to eat as we will not be back. Quality from service, to meals have declined. Buyer beware!!!

I think it's hard for Mexican food to not taste good. Basically, it all looks like delicious food. The meat was tender and there was a lot of it, so I don't think I could have eaten it all by myself. The nachos served first went really well with the spicy sauce. Next time, I'll go try a different menu.

The food is traditional and very tasty! The service was speedy and we were fortunate to arrive just before the dinner rush, and it was a Rush! There were 3 occupied tables when we arrived, plus a patron at the bar; within 30 minutes there wasn't an empty seat! A group celebrating a birthday showed up and they had to open an area that was previously not being seated. High Quality, great variety, they even went above and beyond to provide my grandson with a special modification to a standard dish, he enjoyed it very much! I look forward to eating here again!

I've missed good Mexican food since we moved from the Southwest. Mole is phenomenal, and the fish tacos could beat anything from San Diego. Will definitely be back.

Great food and generous portions served by a friendly staff are the main qualities that define Amelia's to me. I work on the East side of Hillsboro and when I am craving Mexican food at lunch, this is always where I go.(Pro-tip: don't order the Burrito Loco (attached photo shows the part I couldn't finish) unless you're REALLY hungry or you like leftovers!)

My only real complaint is their chile rellanos seem to be pre-made then warmed up when someone orders. The result is a soggy greasy mess with almost no flavor and a brick of unmelted cheese in the middle. Many Mexican restaurants are doing this nowadays and it’s disappointing to me because a freshly made chile rellano is about as good as it gets! The service here is stellar and very friendly. The staff are so nice and attentive.Their beer selection is also very good. The pictured Dos Equis amber especiale was a fantastic malty Mexican beer! Ask for it specifically in the white label.Really there’s nothing else to complain about, but if a restaurant doesn’t get the actual food right then everything else is secondary isn’t it?
