I purchased a deep cycle marine battery in fall of 2022 and it worked so well until the fall of 2024 when I was struggling to get it to hold a charge, so I contacted Battery X-Change Hillsboro and asked if they could help me. I wasn't sure what to expect, but Zach was amazing!
He found that one of the connection points had come loose, but he wanted to test the battery to make sure there weren't other issues. He took out my battery (not a quick or easy task) kept it for a week to test the charge and discharge, and in the meantime, he provided a loaner battery.
In the end, there was nothing wrong with the battery. He reinstalled it, replaced the connection hardware, and provided the test results (which were still excellent).
I was blown away by this service! More than two years after my purchase and they did all this as part of their warranty and service promises. I'd recommend Battery X-Change to anyone, and I'm definitely a customer for life!

Thank you so much for the thorough service and letting me know about that frayed serpentine belt, in addition to my battery. They gave me a bargain of a deal and the work was done so quickly......and thank you for comping me those windshield wipers......what could have been a very stressful day became better once I got my car in to you.

A year ago I came and bought 2 batteries for my diesel truck, I told them it sets for long periods of time. They talked me into buying these $350 a piece batteries and said they would warranty. One of the two batteries swelled up and they declined the warranty.
Interstate batteries have never done that. So I will take my business there.

Excellent service for my battery replacement. They helped to clean corroded connectors and install a new one. Battery price is reasonable.

I was having a problem with my truck not starting and was referred to the battery x-change by an employee at AutoZone. When I got there the manager did a full test to determine if the issue was the battery, starter or alternator. After doing the tests he wasn't quite sure so he took the time to clean both battery terminals and reconnect the ground wire. Doing the cleaning resolved my issue! I didn't realize battery x-change did starter and alternator replacements. That managers honesty and d integrity will be rewarded by me taking my next repair to battery x-change. Thank you!

Great service and great warranty on batteries. I’ve been coming here for years. Full Throttle batteries last for 7 years+. I wouldn’t buy another brand.

My wife and I were about to take a trip and the alternator belt was screaming. We stopped into the Hillsboro store and was greeted by Zach. Very helpful, and courteous. He diagnosed the problem as a loose belt and worked his magic enabling us to get on the road.
