Recommend. My engine light came on. They took care of the issue, told me about a couple things that needed fixed (that I was already aware of) and actually replaced some old hoses that I had wanted replaced for a long time. Everything is running smooth. They were fast and their customer service was very good. Maybe not the cheapest around, but you’ll definitely leave happy with the results.

Do not trust Brookwood Auto Group or Service Center for your used vehicle needs. Before purchase, Brookwood presented me with a thorough inspection report indicating that everything was fine with the car. The next day, I discovered that the speakers were blown. Brookwood claimed that they replaced all of the speakers, but the rattling noise persisted. Just a few weeks later, the car stopped accelerating and braking while on the highway, which was a major safety issue. I took the car to my local mechanic, who discovered several pre-existing, pre-purchase issues. Brookwood's Service Center did not lubricate the new brakes they installed in the pre-purchase inspection report. In addition, the ABS sensor had a broken bolt, the axel needed to be replaced, and there was a significant rust issue that Brookwood never disclosed. When I tried to resolve this issue directly, Brookwood denied all accountability. This was a very disappointing experience. I would expect a locally owned company to demonstrate more product integrity and prioritization of customer safety.

About a week after we bought the car for our daughter it started making a grinding noise when turning. Come to find out the wheel bearing was badly damaged. The mechanic we took it to said the wheel could have fallen off. The brakes were also completely worn. The repairs were $1,500, a week after purchase. The mechanic said it’s highly unlikely they didn’t know about the bad wheel bearing, especially since they have their own shop and provided paperwork that the car had been inspected and serviced. It deeply concerns me that they would sell a car with a mechanical problem that was so dangerous.

Horrible experience. I brought my car in to have the brakes replaced last May. After replacement my brakes started squeaking. I called and was told they had to break in. The sound got worse and I took it back in last November. They said everything was fine they were new brakes and sometimes this happens with ceramic pads. Come this October the sound was so loud every time I stepped on the brakes that the car was practically un-drivable. I brought it to a mechanic in town who started a deep dive into the problem. We called O’Reilly’s where Brookwood said the parts were bought and it turned out that 4 Rotors were bought initially and then one was returned later. Meaning one of the Rotors was not a shiny new part that I had been charged for. Brookwood had no record of the returned part. However, they refused to give me a refund on anything but the one missing rotor. They said they would try to fix the problem themselves no cost. As if I would let them near my car again after the nightmare year of screeching breaks I’ve endured. So now I’m stuck paying for a full break job one year later and filling a small claims court case. What a nightmare. I would definitely NOT recommend this place. They might be cheaper than other spots but you get what you pay for.

For over twenty years we have purchased our vehicles from well known companies here in the valley. My experiences with those companies made me always dislike buying a vehicle. I never felt comfortable or confident in the purchase we were making.
We have been looking for a new truck recently and ran across an ad from Brookwood. We made the two hour drive to Forest Grove to check them out. Brookwood staff were friendly, genuine and professional (Jacob was the best!). The office, lot and inventory were very clean and welcoming. We felt so comfortable and confident at Brookwood that we happily purchased our truck from them. When we went to pick the truck up today it was up front, clean and ready to drive away. Paperwork was ready and in order making it super easy to finish the transaction. We even received a nice car washing gift basket from the staff. If you are looking for your new car/truck/atv they are worth the time and the drive.

Thank you for the help you provided me with my car. I dropped my car off without an appointment but they accepted it with a smile and professionalism.
Tomie was easy to talk to and understand when he explained things to me, and was over all pleasant to deal with. When I asked for additional work to be done after the main issue was fixed there was no problem with it at all.
My only gripe was the cost, but you get what you pay for here. The main issue turned out to just be a switch that was flipped in the off position. Tomie showed me where it was so I could fix it myself next time which I greatly appreciate.
If I can't fix it myself and a friend of mine is busy, I'll definitely bring my car back to your company because your service was excellent.
P.S. While I was there another customer dropped off his car and needed a ride home. They provided him a ride. Now I have never seen that. I would expect them to call an Uber or cab, but to take them home is above and beyond great customer care.
