Had a great experience at Tonkin Chevy. Cheryl was great to work with and on a whole they took the time to really go over the truck. I was quoted for a new master cylinder at a different shop and decided to try here first. After going over the vehicle the determined it was not that and just air in the lines. Did a full power bleed of the system and corrected other shops work.

I purchased a commercial truck from this dealership and was assured of three complimentary services for the vehicle. However, they have since retracted this promise, claiming that the manager who made the commitment is no longer with the company and that there is no documentation to support the agreement. I strongly recommend obtaining all promises in writing to ensure clarity and accountability.

I recently took my car in for repairs and worked with Cheryl throughout the process. She was always cheerful, friendly, and very timely with her communication. While the repair did take longer than originally anticipated, that was due to the job being more involved than expected and not her fault at all.
When I first brought the car in, there was no ETA on the parts, but once they arrived a few weeks later, Cheryl got me scheduled the very next week. She made the entire experience much smoother and is truly great to work with. I appreciate her professionalism and positive attitude.

These people sold a 2012 Chevy Malibu with metal shavings in the oil to my son in Oregon. He is the sole supporter of a family of five, three of whom are young children.Now, thanks to your greedy dealership and your lack of self-respect and decency he has no transportation and you have left him on the street, at Christmas, having to spend a lot of extra money this little family can’t really afford on Ubers and such. I realize the sale was final but this piece of crap lasted barely six months and there’s no way in hell you can tell me that you people didn’t know this $5K+ lemon was a piece of crap. Shame on you! Tonkin seems to stand for nothing but greedy, moneygrubbing fools. If you had any kind of good will you would make good and replace the lemon you knowingly sold him for something safe for his family and my grandchildren. Shame on you, seriously, how can Tonkin keep getting away with doing this?! It’s not the first time I’ve heard of a mess like this from Tonkin. Remember, what comes around goes around. I’m following up with the Attorney General’s office, the Better Business Bureau, FTC, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and anybody else I can think of.

Oil change was quick and easy. However the tech found a leak in my car which was not visible. We had that diagnosed and since the repair was quoted at around 1800 we decided to continue driving the car for now as it has not been driven a lot which could explain the leak. The lady in charge of the service was kind and friendly. The charge for the oil change and diagnosis was well earned.

Tonkin Hillsboro Chevrolet serviced my truck recently and it was one of the easiest services I've had done in a while. They were quick and clean and very friendly. They gave me honest advice about upcoming services which I appreciated so much. I highly recommend them for all services.
