ZERO STARS! Just say NO for small business banking! Chase places holds on so many checks for an exorbitant amount of time. These are not checks from new clients and we are NOT a new account. These are checks from repeat clients, some of whom also bank with Chase. The straw that broke this camel's back is the cashier's check they're holding for 14 days (AFTER verifying the check is legit and funds have already been transferred from Wells Fargo to Chase). Why a two week hold when Chase literally HAS the funds???? Its asinine.

WARNING!!!!DO NOT BANK HERE!! DO NOT DEPOSIT MONEY HERE!!The ATM TOOK HUNDRED OF DOLLARS I attempted to deposit into my account and DID NOT deposit it, instead gave an error message and DID NOT keep a record of my deposit attempt and gave NO RECEIPT!Gave me a number to call and waited for 30 minutes on a phone line for the 2 most UNHELPFUL people, especially the person by the name THENU!A person came in while I was going through this and said this has happened to them 3 TIMES!! DO NOT COME HERE!They should be reported to the better business bureau!!DO NOT BANK HERE IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR MONEY SAFE!!

My wife went in with our 16 year old son to try to open an account for him. They said that you have to make an appointment online in order to open an account. But they also said that you have to be over 16 in order to make an appointment. But you can open an account at age 16. Totally does not make any sense. They will not be getting this new account. I don't know how they can stay in business when they treat customers like this. The place was empty, there were no customers in there. All they had to do was pretend like they cared and help us, but they didn't care, nor did they pretend to care. Lame. We will be going to OnPoint. They seem to care and want to help us.

Walked in to open an account. They said they don’t have time for me and I can do it online. I was the only customer inside the branch at the time. Hallie is the one who was involved in this conversation.I won’t be opening an account with Chase knowing how their customer service is. If that is an example of how I’ll be treated in the future, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

They held the check I deposited into my checking account for 10 business days because I hadn't previosly deposited a check at that location before. How ridiculous. Because of this I was late on my car payment.

Chase back office informed my brother all issues where fixed and sent a text stating his checked cleared and deposited. Not true. They lied. Note the have lied to him several times. Why did your staff lie? Are you hiring liars? The manager branch at 2115 SE Tualatin Valley Hwy, Hillsboro, OR 97123 lied to my brother and I faced several about matters. I also asked him to have HR and the Branch GM contact me ASAP. He informed me they would be contacting me ASAP. Neither has HR and Branch GM have contacted me. Why are your staff liars? Why has HR or the Branch GM contacted me?

I used to bank with Chase since they bought out Washington Mutual in 2008. This was mostly out of convenience since they had branches near where I lived, but had very negative experience where comment I made to a teller was taken out of context.The branch manager pulled me off to the side on my next visit and threatened to expell me from their lobby behind this. I tried to explain what really happened and was disbelieved even though I looked him straight in the eye while speaking to him. I started pulling my money out the next day and closed all my accounts during the next few weeks.Normally I would give 1 star for such a negative interaction with staff there, but I did have several years of satisfactory service before this incident even though my repeated requests for a higher interest rate got me nowhere. I figure 4 stars plus 1 star divided in half rounded down for my rating of 2 stars for this branch, even though I see this location has an abnormally huge amount of 1 star reviews.I am now getting 10 to 20 times higher interest rate elsewhere, and saw online that just about every financial institution will pay a better rate than Chase does. I think you can do better going elsewhere for rate of return and service.

Excellent bank with exceptional customer service. Employees have a wide base of knowledge. Employees remember my name despite having only met me once. The best customer service I have ever received at a branch.

If I could take a screen shot of how many terrible reviews this place has it still wouldn't be enough
