“I had such a great experience at this bike repair shop! They were incredibly quick with the repairs, super knowledgeable, and took the time to share helpful information and tips with me. You can really tell they care about both their work and their customers. Overall, the entire experience was smooth, friendly, and professional. Highly recommend for anyone needing bike repairs or advice!
Thank you Harrison!”
“I love it here! It is a safe space for recovering peeps! I wish they had caffeine free options tho. Since I can’t really drink soda due to the caffeine. Since I have a heart condition. I used to go to 4D in Portland and they had Shasta, and Fanta available. I wish they had those options there too!!! That’s the only reason I can’t give it 5 stars.”
“Nice they unloaded everything for me. Which is great as I am a wheelchair user and it would of taken some time to get out and pack it over. Was in and out in 3 minutes”
“Hosted state competition here, lots of parking and well maintained, event was good despite unexpected rain. Easy to find location, multiple automated trap ranges with voice activated pull.”
“Some of the brightest minds and extremely helpful people work there. They are on a mission to help us grow and succeed in our businesses. I am a member, and they have gone above and beyond to help me connect with others in the county to grow my business.”
“This place is Amazing!! We met Laura Flores as our counselor. She is so Awesome and helps you a lot! Anyone who gets to work with her or needs help from Laura, she’s going to get it done for you! She gave us so much confidence and helped us so much! When a program opened up she immediately thought of us! She’s very friendly and easy to talk with and easy to get along with you. You can tell she loves her job, and enjoys helping others. It was and is very enjoyable to have her on your side! She explains everything and makes sure we understand! I have never met someone like her who you can tell loves her job at helping people who need help. She helped us save our home and be able to continue living in it. We will forever be grateful to Laura Flores from Bienestar in Hillsboro. And we will continue to stay in contact with her. She is a friend for life and well worth having on your side!! I wished I could give her and Bienestar 10’s. Thank you for being on our team Laura Flores!! You are DA BOMB ??!
Sincerely
Maria and Joe Martinz”
“I honestly can say that Transcending Hope is at the forefront of providing the best Recovery Housing I have experienced. They have a dedicated maintenance team, highly trained staff from the top to bottom, Navigators, and super engaged House Mangers. They absolutely care about the health and safety of their residents and program participants. Transcending Hope homes are NARR (National Association of Recovery Residences) Certified and have passed the quality inspection process. 5 Stars in my book!”
“I was there, and um, not too good on waiting. So, of course, I went over to where the y will change the pin on your Oregon Trial Card. So when I got over there, a man was behind the plexiglass. I kinda made a jester to him, Can you help me, he kinda looked confused. Then I explained. He asked if I had a no. I told him yeah. He then said I will see. The. Told me to take a seat. I did and thought he just blew me off. I just sat there and the girl who was at the window was long gone. Then I heard excuse me. It was him asking me to come over to the desk. I was thankful as my no was still aways away. He then asked me a few questions. And Bing band boom I was all taken care of. Thanks man. But let me say I have dealt with them in the past and it was a way to get to the place. ( just know I'm a home body tring to get out more.) But I made it. I wasn't in line for long. They asked what I needed, I requested foodstamps, and buss passes. And then told them my husband was arrested. And I was told to get mine separated. Well one lady comes out and gets me and said let go answer some questions. I did. And then I heard her say something about a grant that victims are granted. I think she said it was $1500. Well that would have helped me. Due to I had no way of getting to my bank in Forest Grove. Then she came back to me with oh you don't have any children under the age of 18 in the home. No. Then we can't give you the grant. Now, she kinda leads me out to the front to talk to someone there about stamps, and bus pass. The lady wasent able to help me with them because we had a joint account. I had no money, and nothing to eat. They gave my two lunch sacks that had fruit and snacks in it. Said they'd work on it. I asked about the bus passes. Nope don't got those either. I left there not felling like I haden't accomplished anything. So in all, its all about who you know and how good they are. There are people who really care and some who don't. I would give this place a 5+ and a 5-. It'S what it is. Atmosphere clean, very open and spacious. And there is some comfortable sitting. I do notice that there are about 5 or 6 stations, but only three ever seam to be opened.”
“Indeed, the G W stores are truly wonderful — they have so many useful things, and the people, workers, and management are all very kind, friendly, and helpful. Thanks to the great management!”
“I get food for my clients at this wonderful place. They serve hundreds of people a day. Always with a smile and a helpful heart. From the great people who donate their time to the great people that coordinate gathering and distributing the donations.
For five years I have been receiving Gods gifts of nourishment from this AMAZING Salvation Army.
Without their services, many would not eat.
Thank you for filling the hungry people of our community.”
