Worst customer service I have ever experienced. If you're looking for a streamstress to stand you up Lei is the one. I'm very forgiving and forgave her the first time, but the second time I left in tears. With only 30 days till my wedding day I'm left with and uncompleted dress with no ownership or apology. After arguing with me I sent her my invoice copy stating I was correct, her response " you're welcome to come pick it up and take it elsewhere". If you want to be feel stressed, rushed, forgotten and unwelcomed Custom Fit to You is the perfect place.I honestly didn't want to do this review, but I dont EVER want any bride to experience what I went through during this special time.

if I could do 0 I would. she stood up my best friend not once but twice. Being a maid of honor and seeing a stressed out braid over her wedding dress is no fun!!! my friend sent her the invoice with the date on it (after she argued with my friend and her response, "my bad... I dont want this to be stressful so you can come get your dress" the dress is not finished and we have 4 weeks till the wedding and never once did we get an "I'm so sorry" so i texted her to cancel my appointment and she responded is this ...... (my name) I said yes and she responded done. no remorse or ownership for her mistake. if you are a bride I would not come here because you will probably get stood up and not have your dress on time.

I came in with a drop waist style dress that was too loose and too long and left with it fitting beautifully! Lei also went out of her way to give me a contact when my makeup artist had to cancel. I couldn’t be happier!

Lei did an absolutely incredible job with my dress. I was very concerned about the bust of my dress, when I initially purchased the dress the bust was way too big, but she was able to reconstruct the top to make it fit perfectly. Her prices were great and the quality of work was even better. Thank you Lei for everything!

I booked an appointment with Lei 4 months in advance, as soon as I bought my dress from the white dress boutique, because they recommended her. My parents flew in from the east coast for the weekend to attend the fitting, they planned their entire trip from Washington D.C. around this appointment. We showed up, but Lei never did. We waited for 45 minutes outside the store. I called and left a message on the store phone. I called her cell three times. The first two times it rang once or twice and said the person was not available, the third time it rang 6 times and went to voicemail and I left a message. She clearly was ignoring my calls. I texted her twice as well. Later that day she texted me and said she didn't even know who I was, so I resent her the confirmation for the appointment that she had sent me. Then she apologized and offered to reschedule, but when I asked for availability I never heard from her again. It was the most unprofessional experience I could imagine having, with such a lack of care for the customer. If you want a seamstress that stands you up before your big day, lei is the seamstress to go to.

I bought my dress from The White Dress and had a nightmare experience of alterations. Each and every appointment I had felt was very rushed, as if Lei did not have time for me. Long story short, during my last 2 fittings I mentioned how my dress still felt too big and did not fit right yet she assured me that she'd done this dress MANY times and it was correct. As the expert, I continued to trust her. In my final fitting I wasn't crazy about how it all fit yet again she kept assuring me it was correct and "there was nothing [she] could do" to fix the things I was worried about. After leaving my final fitting, I got home, tried my dress on and burst into tears. It was indeed still too big and when I sat down, my top fell completely off. (Did I mention I was leaving for my wedding in just 2 weeks?!) After taking my dress to a new seamstress I learned how I was indeed correct. The dress did not fit the way it was intended and the work done with Custom Fit was done poorly (a strap was hanging by a thread, each layer of my dress was a different size, etc.). Lei did not own up to this poorly done work and instead put all blame on me. I have never written a google review before yet I felt I needed to share my terrible experience. I would NEVER recommend going to Lei for alterations. Brides deserve to have a seamstress who listens and does everything in their power to make your dress fit correctly as well as own up to their mistakes. DO NOT GO TO LEI FOR YOUR WEDDING DRESS ALTERATIONS.

In response to Shelby Dietsch - We want to begin by saying we did apologized and I explained to Shelby that had she let me know at the final fitting which was 20 minutes because she explained that she was happy, we would have seen and made the changes. I have pictures of the dress while she was in our shop and her top did not fall off. I explained to her that I would have never let any client leave if her top fell off and she was exposed. That would make no sense. I'd like to also point out that she contacted us 2 months after her final appointment. She had first attempted to have the bridal boutique pay for ordering a size that was bigger than her normal size, but was explained that she was between sizes and signed for the dress. 2 months later she contacted our store and unfortunately, I never received any information prior to that. Our alterations were minimal, only $125. Thats a very minimal alterations. We always recommend holding off on your final till about a week out from your wedding because unfortunately your body may change due to all the planning. After 6 years of seeing this happen, I try to recommend that, but there are a few cases where brides don't want to wait and I can understand.Again, I am sorry Shelby, but I can assure you that I would have NEVER let you leave our store after you putting your dress on and your top falling off. There would be no way I would be okay with that. I truly am sorry that I wasn't able to help you right away, but again, if we had known right then and there and not waited 2 months later. Again, I am sorry, but there is a lot of the story missing here.

Leialoha is simply amazing!! I came to her 3 months in advance before my big day and asked her to help me alter my dress to fit my body type (curvy). Leialoha was confident from beginning to end that she could do the job. She built me a beautiful corset and bustle. Every session I had with her was one step closer to my dream dress! Before I knew it, my last fitting arrived and I was so nervous that I still wouldn't squeeze into my dress but as soon as Leialoha helped me into my dress, it fit perfectly! She truly made me feel so beautiful and worked so hard to make this happen for me. She is 100% a miracle worker. ~highly satisfied bride <3
