Our daughter’s 4th birthday at ELM was the best, and worth every penny. Highly recommend! After a few questions about the birthday girl and her favorite things, we walked in to space with decor, treats, activities, and toys all thoughtfully set up with her in mind. Nicole was an amazing host, answered every question and allowed me to actually enjoy the party rather than keeping time, picking up or thinking about logistics. And of course, the most important review of all - our daughter said it was the “best party EVER!”

We could not ask for a better place to leave our children in the care of. The team they have on staff here are wonderful. Always kind, efficient, quick to answer back and thorough with all communication. We are so thankful for this space and their approach to social learning and leading with play. I trust my kids are feeling seen and delighted in- the staff is consistent and seems genuinely happy to be at their job,. Highly recommend and especially appreciate all the effort put in to extra curricular events and family nights!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about ELM and its incredible staff. From the moment we enrolled our daughter , we felt the warmth and dedication of the team. This is a school built on love and passion, founded by a mother who deeply understands the needs of children from her own experience. The care and thoughtfulness put into every aspect of the school are evident, from the nurturing learning environment to the personalized attention each child receives.
Recently, I faced a difficult time due to unforeseen circumstances, and the support I received from ELM was nothing short of remarkable. Despite my struggles, Kandy and her team handled everything with such kindness and empathy including removing the term limits and refunds. They went above and beyond to accommodate our situation, offering flexibility and understanding that truly eased our transition.
Our Daughter thrived in the Sequoia & Elderberry class, and the experiences she gained here will stay with her forever. It’s rare to find a school where children are not only taught but genuinely cared for, and ELM exemplifies that beautifully.

My kids loved all the teachers at ELM. We were a part of the community for three years and have nothing but the best to say. At the end of our time at ELM we were able to book a party in the new party space and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed all the areas and thought it was a great space for a variety of ages. Kandy and Nicole were awesome in making us feel welcome and comfortable and we recommend ELM and their party space 100%.

The school and the teachers were amazing for the most part! Our kid loved attending and definitely developed good social skills. However, I have one point of feedback. The school entices you to register for the following year and asks for a non-refundable deposit, which they won't return even in exceptional circumstances, such as leaving the city. They claim this is to save you a seat, but for the afternoon times that we registered, there were still available places. It seems like the management is just trying to keep as much money as possible. Minor setback to what has been a great year overall.

Our family LOVES ELM!! It was the best decision to take my daughter here for pre-school. She learned so much over 2 years, and she loved coming to school everyday day!

Amazing preschool/kindergarten! My son loves and thrives at ELM all of the teachers and director is supportive and caring towards my child I wouldn’t have him attend anywhere else !! Would definitely recommend to any one my son learns new things everyday we are very happy with his development thank you ELM!

My daughter has had the best experience at ELM. She started in the Laurel room with Ms. Linsey and worked her way up to the Sequoia room(Kinder) with Ms. Kim. She has grown so much over the years. She has become more independent and confident as well. With the student teacher ratio being so low, she has learned significantly at school. She will be entering the first grade well prepared. All of the teachers are great. They are very kind, patient and loving. The environment at elm is fun and inspiring. My child loves going to school everyday. She always talks about how much she loves her teachers and friends. ELM is by far the best preschool/Kinder in Hillsboro!

I am so grateful for this wonderful school. The teachers let the kids learn at their own pace. They allow time for play, music and art, STEM, and expose them to so many different things that are really necessary for practical life!
