Hats off to Ali at the Customer Service desk 11/25/23. He had no quit in finding an item for me that was well hidden. It wasn't where it was supposed to be and I had all but given up. Something on the computer told him it was in the store and he was determined to find it despite it being a wildly busy day. Thanks man.

Home depot has gone down hill bad. What was once a company based on customer service is no more. Called to rent a mini excavator was told no problem just need to do it online so I could pay. Went online could only do it if I wanted to pay to have it delivered. So I head to the store to be told the machine can only be rented first come first serve. Oh when was it last rented? Months ago..... W

I had a big duh moment today, whilst trying to get some Teflon tape out of a container. The associate didn't make me feel like an idiot. He blamed it on the nice, sunny weather. He was very helpful when I couldn't find items. I appreciate employees like this.

I love a good flexible flapper, especially when it comes from the fluidmaster...(fluidmaster flexible flapper - say that three times fast)

This home depot has done me well. I come a lot to get stuff for projects and the workers are always super pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. I usually go in with a plan knowing what aisles all the things I need but I usually come out with more. I like that they do clearance on the end caps and I find lots of useful things that make my life more convenient.

My fiancé ordered me a brand new $700 (with delivery) work bench from here for Christmas. Unfortunately, they called the day of delivery saying that the only one available has dents in it. So instead of the store correcting it, my fiancé spent the entire morning calling around different stores, trying to figure out how to get our delivery which was supposed to be delivered today... Specifically, this Home Depot went out of their way to be rude to her on the phone. When she asked to speak to someone else, because the man on the line was being rude, he said that he would NOT transfer her over. What gave him the feeling he could speak to a woman in such a way? We have canceled the entire $701 order and we will spend our money at another place that values and respects women. So disheartening to hear that they treated her rude on the phone when they messed up the order and delivery time. We literally will never shop at Home Depot again after this. Order is canceled already now too. The man that spoke to my fiancé on the phone today should learn how to have some customer service. Especially when your company is the one messing up someone's big Christmas present. Lost tons of money for the company you work for. We won't be back and I work in a field where I buy tools constantly. Instead of making our Christmas memorable, we now have to run around and go Christmas shopping the week before because you guys messed up. We will spend our money at places that don't feel the need to degrade women.

Worst. Experience. Ever. 1. Customer service person in store gave us terrible information, which resulted in us purchasing a grill online with "scheduled delivery". According to the service rep at the store, this order type meant the item would be shipped new from a warehouse. This is not the case and is basically shipped from a store, after it's shipped to a store from a warehouse, or it's just shipped from a store where the grill has been sitting around. The rep also told us delivery would take 5 days to deliver if we purchased from store, but the site said two days from purchase. So we ordered online expecting to days later we'd have a grill. 2. Five days later, the grill showed up (ironically the same time the rep at the store told us versus the website). It was delayed and we got a notice the day before it was supposed to be delivered. Then we received email communication that it would be delivered "tomorrow", but apparently a system error sent out the email early and we received that notification in error. Found this out after an hour texting with Home Depot "service". 3. When the grill was finally delivered, it was damaged. There was spray paint on the grill, the installed parts were crooked, the grill grates were chipped, and the pellet area was dented. When working with "customer service" for about an hour, they were able to schedule a pickup of the damaged old grill and a delivery of a new grill for the next day. 4. Of course that delivery was delayed, as well as the pick up company said they showed up for pick up but they did absolutely not. With the pickup window of 6a-8p, we woke up early to make sure we were available. Not a knock, doorbell ring, or a call. If they did "show up", they just drove through and didn't stop. 5. After an hour on the phone with "online customer service", multiple people talked to, we were told that our order wasn't an online order and we needed to contact the store. Even though we placed the order online, because of the delivery option, it was a store order; which again, was not what the original store service rep told us. After then contacting the store, they confirmed shipping would be the next day and pick up would be the day after (two days after the time they told us, again...). 6. After a week, which was supposed to be two days, we received the second grill that was supposed to be new. Again, delivered, the product was damaged. After calling service at the store, they were able to give a very minuscule credit to the order, which is better than nothing. But after two damaged grills, a week of waiting which should have been two days, and 3+ hours on the phone dealing with "customer service", we just decided to keep the grill. It's too much of a hassle to deal with this store/company anymore and it'll at least work. But paying almost a thousand dollars for a damaged item, and dealing with a dozen people to get a small discount, we won't be shopping at Home Depot, at all. We'll use Amazon or pay more from a local hardware store than deal with the big box that doesn't give any sort of care for their customers.

You should fire the 3 "kids" working in your wood dept last night around 6:30pm. Customer was asking questions about shingles, and all 3 of them standing there giving crap answers, and he was even asking about "what if he wasn't happy with the color" and each of them kind of coming up with different answers. Meanwhile, over the intercom for the 2nd or 3rd time, someone was saying that someone in the wood department had a customer on the phone, and they were bickering about "it's your turn to answer the phone" and I'm not getting it, you get it". They actually said "someone will get it or they will eventually hang up". I know, hiring staff is impossible right now, but you would have almost been better off having no staff than these clowns collecting paychecks.

We went through Home Depot for a hardwood floor installer. They had no idea what they were doing. They tried to leave the flooring outside. When they started the installation they had no idea what they were doing and then started not showing up. When I would call Home Depot for help, they told me to call the installers. Went through three sets of installers before we found one who had to rip up the previous contractors' work because it was done so poorly. This has taken a year to get the floor put in and Home Depot has been horrible in assisting me to get it right.

I'm giving Home Depot 5 stars for one reason and one reason only, and that reason is Bailey in countertops. We had a very negative experience with Precision Countertops who were contracted through Home Depot for a project. Bailey was the only person who took our concerns seriously and she worked tirelessly to make me feel comfortable and find a solution. This woman should run the entire store IMO.

Their online ordering system is absolute junk. I'm receiving text messages that say one thing, emails that say another, and their online tracking something completely different. The order has been delayed 2 days so far yet the tracking still shows one item arriving as scheduled. Called the 1800 number, they were clueless, had to go through multiple systems to figure out that they don't know. Called the store second and they are the only ones with accurate information. They did deliver 2 boxes of screws on time which says online that it was coming in 3 separate orders, which is pretty confusing.
