Shaylee at the sunset esplanade location cut my hair and I told her how I wanted to cut my hair, which was a skin fade with 4 on top, she did not achieve that. Instead she did something different which wasn’t even close to what I asked for and my hair seemed the same as when I first showed up. She also smelled like cigarettes and was the first hairstylist that ever cut my hair that held my head so hard as if it was gonna fall off.

Came in for help from a bad haircut else where, not a Great clips. Veronica was great!! I will be going to again, and not for just help but a real cut.

Usually great service and good stylists. Today’s stylist was rough, curt, and seemed to be rushing me out of the store because she was upset. Seemed to be rushing through the cut and was hurting my head. In the end, below-average hair cut and spots were missed. Bare minimum communication necessary to cut my hair. Was very disappointed with the customer service today.

The stylists at the Sunset Esplanade are always friendly & ask me questions to make sure my haircut is how I like it. They are efficient but not hurried.

TLDR. One of the few reasonable choices for a Men's haircut in the area.
I used the check-in widget on their website about an hour before I'd be in the neighborhood & headed out to do some grocery shopping at Sunset Esplanade. I also called the take & bake pizza place there and scheduled a pickup for 1.5 hours later, leaving me about a 45 minute window to get a haircut. I finished shopping early, and still had an estimated 20-30 minute wait, so I ducked in, out of the rain nearby & had a pint of beer while donating to the Oregon Lottery. I got the SMS message, 10 minute warning, 5 minutes after I arrived I'm getting my annual buzz cut, which is usually a very fast process. Apparently my thinning hair on top requires some fixing with a keen eye and scissors. With the focus of a neurosurgeon she finished my cut. Taking about twice as long as I expected... Maybe cost a little more than it should & almost always you'll wait in a virtual line but you get the cut you ask for and staff are pleasant, albeit a little tuckered out by 5 in the evening. The pizza was wicked good too

After my whole life not knowing what haircut fits my head and never liking my hair after 10 minutes of being out, I finally figured out what hairstyle fits me and it's all thanks to these gals. They are very patient and the cost is fair.

Don't come here expecting a haircut if you made a reservation online; they schedule lunches in order to have only one employee working conveniently, and in my case, an extra thirty minutes wait time for me.
Needless to say, I left and won't be coming back. Awful service!

I get my fade and cut wherever Kim goes. She was at Fred Meyers location and now at Safeway location. She is Highly trained and an experienced Barber. Simply one the best!
