“This would be a 1 star review if it were not for the store manager. He went above and beyond for me and did what I would expect from the 10 pl I dealt with there over this week. Had such a bad experience with the Bend location that I canceled my order. Then the online dept let me down and finally the store manager took care of me and the next day I had my purchase completed. I did happen to read some if the other reviews that were left and while I didnt interact with him, because he tried to never make eye contact with anyone. Jeff definitely doesn't seem like he likes pl and it shows when you watch him avoid pl. Im sure it sucks having 4 or 5 pl getting starred at by the 20 pl waiting to be helped. That is the job. Quick smile and we'll be right with you is all. Everyone else was decent to deal with.”
“My experience was surprisingly enjoyable! Chris was patient and easy to talk with. The price for the Glock I purchased was pretty dang close to what the big box stores have them advertised as. What really sold me was the customer service. Not just to me, but to another customer over the phone. 10/10 will buy here again and I 100% recommend buying here.”
“Mistakenly put in a bad review, here is my revised one: Couldn’t get my own gun apart, brought it in and one of the guys showed me the trick to it. Happened to see a nice shotgun while I was in, they gave me a reasonable price, and the background check was done in less than 20 minutes I think. Got a cleaning kit/cleaner, ammo box, and holster. One stop shop. I plan on returning.”
“Al's is one of my favorite gun stores. Been going her for many years, mostly for gunsmithing services. Stopped by this weekend and met the new owner. I was saddened to hear of Marcus's passing. He will be greatly missed. The new owner seems like a good guy. We shall see. He's still waiting for his FFL to be approved before he can purchase stock and open for business. No idea how long that will take other than the fact that in recent weeks the backlog of background checks has been completely insane. The shop can be a little difficult to find. It's in the boonies a few miles from Forest Grove. It's been there since the 1950's so all the locals and serious enthusiasts know where it is. Hoping the new ownership continues to make this a great gun shop.”

I had a stripped lower sent here but it is rather expensive and timely, even with a CCW. They do it all by paper so if you're in a rush this is not the spot for you. Was able to pick up the lower the next day.
$45 fee + $10 background check.”
