You should fire the 3 "kids" working in your wood dept last night around 6:30pm. Customer was asking questions about shingles, and all 3 of them standing there giving crap answers, and he was even asking about "what if he wasn't happy with the color" and each of them kind of coming up with different answers. Meanwhile, over the intercom for the 2nd or 3rd time, someone was saying that someone in the wood department had a customer on the phone, and they were bickering about "it's your turn to answer the phone" and I'm not getting it, you get it". They actually said "someone will get it or they will eventually hang up". I know, hiring staff is impossible right now, but you would have almost been better off having no staff than these clowns collecting paychecks.

We went through Home Depot for a hardwood floor installer. They had no idea what they were doing. They tried to leave the flooring outside. When they started the installation they had no idea what they were doing and then started not showing up. When I would call Home Depot for help, they told me to call the installers. Went through three sets of installers before we found one who had to rip up the previous contractors' work because it was done so poorly. This has taken a year to get the floor put in and Home Depot has been horrible in assisting me to get it right.

I'm giving Home Depot 5 stars for one reason and one reason only, and that reason is Bailey in countertops. We had a very negative experience with Precision Countertops who were contracted through Home Depot for a project. Bailey was the only person who took our concerns seriously and she worked tirelessly to make me feel comfortable and find a solution. This woman should run the entire store IMO.

Their online ordering system is absolute junk. I'm receiving text messages that say one thing, emails that say another, and their online tracking something completely different. The order has been delayed 2 days so far yet the tracking still shows one item arriving as scheduled. Called the 1800 number, they were clueless, had to go through multiple systems to figure out that they don't know. Called the store second and they are the only ones with accurate information. They did deliver 2 boxes of screws on time which says online that it was coming in 3 separate orders, which is pretty confusing.

3 times, nothin. 3 times i had to go inside myself. Waited 15 minutes each time. "Curbside pickup" didnt do the service. Dont offer curbside assistance/pickup if u cant do it. False advertising. Sigh

never buy anything from Home Depot and have it shipped by Fed-X.
I have been waiting for a delivery since Sunday December 5. Home Depot can not help...... customer service is non existent! Fed- X is even worse .

I was so happy to buy the blow up snowman for my yard display but when I went to put it up I found that it was used and dirty so I returned it just to find they are all gone so I was very upset and felt that that was a dirty trick to pull on someone so yes I got my money back but I am still very upset

Worst home delivery experience in my life! Run for the hills! We had a new fridge "delivered". They called on their way but almost missed their allotted time slot. When they got here, they parked in the back where our garage entrance is and immediately got frazzled because the garage doorway looked too slim, even without taking off the door, so they would have to take it in the front door instead (around the other side and up three stairs from the patio to the door). We anticipated that this might happen so we were prepared to take either door of its hinges...BUT we didn't anticipate that they a) didn't have any tools or b) didn't know how to take it off. Note: We have the tools and have done this before; and although, we're paying for them to do it, we offered to take the door off for them. They responded by getting defensive because they were unprepared and clearly too inexperienced and insisting that it wasn't necessary - that they were the professionals so they knew best... well, that went as expected - they attempted to force the fridge through the door and scraped our door frame pretty badly in the process. The fridge didn't fit and instead of letting us remedy their incompetence by taking the hinges of and trying again, they suddenly had to go - claiming they were out of time (it had been 20 minutes). And even though, we argued that an average delivery likely took longer and they were allotted to be there until the delivery was actually completed, they left the fridge where it stood and made a bunch of excuses for why they couldn't stay to do their job. We attempted to call them back again after we had taken the door off (5 min later), but they refused to answer their phones. Then, we called customer service and was assured a manager would promptly resolve this which was that we could reschedule the window for another day. REALLY? AND LEAVE THE FRIDGE WHERE IT STOOD? OUTSIDE? So, rather than deal with this complete incompetence from both the delivery service and the customer service center, we went and rented an appliance dolly, called a couple of good friends, and moved the fridge inside ourselves; and then, put the door back on the hinges. We will NEVER use their service again and I will NEVER purchase anything more than nails unless nothing else is open for miles and miles around. And I will most definitely share this experience with as many friends and family as I possibly can from now until I die. Corporate: Please feel free to reach out so that you can find and fire these incompetent individuals. I've had good experiences shopping at your stores until now, but this can't be overlooked.

I wouldn't recommend the Hillsboro Home Depot to my worst enemy. I have a husky 4 in1 combo wrench that broke. I waited 3 weeks tell they got any in so I could exchange it for a new one as it has a lifetime warranty. The lady at the return counter gave me some crap about the warranty isn't through Home Depot but through husky. I told her husky is the Home Depot brand. After some chatting I told her get your manager. She did and what do you know the manager exchanged it right away. I shouldn't have to go though this BS they need to train their employees!!

Complete nightmare trying to get the truth out of them on flooring installation. I have paid but can't get my floor installation completed. They don't show up or home Depot misleads you about the process. Now they won't return my calls and are hoping I just forget about the $2800 I paid them.

Was supposed to have my flooring delivered on June 16th 25 days later no floor. They can't figure out where it's at, and won't refund me my money. Had to spend another four thousand dollars on different flooring cause the person working on my house was done waiting on them.

This location is incredible! I am a pretty loyal Home Depot customer as just last month I bought my central ac unit from them and last fall we had our home re carpeted by them. Last month I was at the Beaverton location and purchased a new patio set and free standing umbrella. I paid to have it delivered and set up. It went down hill real fast. Dates were messed up, it was delivered but not set up, and then the 3rd party cancelled the set up and would not schedule a new appointment. I reached out to the corporate office to voice my frustration. Corporate did some research and reached out to this store. In less than a week two employees from this location volunteered and came out to set everything up! What amazing employees! Extremely happy with my new patio furniture and the employees. They truly went above and beyond to help. I was able to speak with the store manager to let her and the staff know they really saved the day. And thanks to this experience that could have really turned me against them they turned it around and I'll continue to be a loyal customer.

If you have a problem after an install, they will up charge you for fixing their mistake. Don't shop here! Just drive next door to LOWES.
