I called to make an appointment and a somewhat rude guy answered and asked for my social security number phone and email I said I could give phone and email but would not give my social security number just to make an appointment and he hung up on me. Be careful....
I ended up making an appointment online and spoke to someone else, told her what happened and she said that is not normal and should not have happened. She said that sometimes they ask for last 4 digits if its a returning customer but the whole number and any number for a new customer is not normal. Be careful...
I don't blame h&r block as a whole I just think one of their employees may be using their job to get sensitive information. The lady I talked to said she would look into it.

Lou was an absolute delight to work with, he was fast and efficient. We were in and out in no time. He also was thorough when explaining all my tax paperwork. Will return next year for sure!

Your representative, Lou was went above and beyond. Lou was courtious, knowledgeable, informative, and expedient. Lou is very professional while being warm and welcoming. He explained everything in detail and always ask for any questions from me that I might have. He also assisted the receptionist in fulfilling her position in a positive, professional manner. My taxes are in his hands indefinitely. Don't ever let him go. Above 5 star.
