Generally, I've had a good experience but the fact that they are closing and they did not bother to tell anybody that they are no longer filling prescriptions unless they have them in stock UNLESS you showed up in person is a bunch of BS.
Not like it's going to matter. I don't hardly think anybody's going to read this review because the store is closing on I believe the 26th of June.
Rest in piss rite aid

Thank goodness this place is closing. A pharmacy that refuses to answer a phone should be illegal. If you value your health, do NOT and I. Mean NEVER, USE THIS PHARMACY..they refuse to fill your rx in a timely manner, you will NEVER get a phone call answered, and you can't leave a message or stay in a phone queue, you just can't talk to anyone ever. I tried to send an emergency refill to this location, and despite calling at 2pm to get confirmation the rx would be ready before 5pm, no prescription to be found when my partner showed up at 6. Took until 630 for them to figure out my insurance wouldn't cover it, but it still should've been filled and I would've paid out of pocket. This place honestly shouldn't ve allowed to operate as a pharmacy because of the health threatening position they put patients in when refusing to fill medication or communicate with patients.

Very hard to talk to a staff member, the phones just ring and ring. Aditionally it takes them longer than other pharmacies to fill perscriptions. I assume staffing shortages

Among other problems, their phone line does not work. It auto hangs up or redials instead of connecting to the pharmacy. Went and told them that when I picked up my rx, and all they said is “yea we know, the phones haven’t been working”. Wife just tried calling them a few weeks after that experience happened with me and it’s apparently still not fixed. Rite aid clearly cares nothing about their customers or their (small amount of) staff.

Rite aide pharmacy is extremely slow, don’t communicate, customer service is terrible. Been trying to transfer everything and they have been a hassle to deal with and pushing off transferring my medications after 3+ request and now my medication is getting close the refill and still dodging me. I would give it negative stars if i could.

I have been a customer of this Rite Aid branch for 20 plus years. The staff has always been extremely professional and very helpful. My thanks to all.

IF YOU DO NOT CALL AHEAD YOUR MEDS WILL NOT BE REFILLED. long lines, bad customer service, always on hold for 30+ minutes. Good news is they have a good selection of meds!

On March 14, 2017, The loss prevention specialist who was working at this Rite Aid really rude to my friend Sarah Michelle Jarvis! She accused my best friend of stealing something! He literally yelled and threw and kicked her to the ground What a shameless jerk! She was homeless at the time this occurred! That Loss Prevention Specialist has no heart for homeless people! And that jerk was never arrested nor charged!
Used to love going to this Rite Aid in Hillsboro for years! After that, I'd rather go somewhere else then be where my best friend was ridiculed by a jerk loss prevention specialist! My best friend still has nightmares when she goes to sleep and she is still scarred physically and mentally by that cold soulless scumbag! 7 years later! 7 years after that incident I will never come back to this Rite Aid! Rite Aid has lost my trust. No wonder so many Rite Aid stores are closing across the USA! I'm surprised this one hasn't closed and is still open!

I’m fed up. I’ve been going this pharmacy for almost 2 years. It’s always so chaotic, long lines and very rarely do they have my medication ready. Even after I’ve gotten the text message alert. I live 30 minutes away, this is infuriating. I will never return after today’s debacle. I will say, that my best experience with a pharmacist was with Tim, he was great. Otherwise, worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to.

All I am going to say is that I have never been to a more incompetent, unprofessional, and unaccountable pharmacy in my entire existence of 46 years. Why have an automated system to refill your prescriptions if it never is ready on the time that it says, it never updates to the pharmacy, and you have to call to make sure your prescriptions are ready or even started... Even after putting them in the automated system, sometimes days before? Example, Friday morning I enter all my prescriptions on the automated system. It says would you like to pick them up today, and I reply yes. It then gives you a time 3:00 to 6 hours after, which is fine. However, when you go to pick up the prescriptions at said time, you will be told by the pharmacist that the automated system doesn't give the correct time because it doesn't know how far behind they are.?. So, you're telling me that your pharmacy is 3 to 4 days behind? But if my doctor calls in my prescription it's ready within 15 minutes? In reality what the automated system should say is that you may enter your prescriptions, and confirm the time and day you would like to pick them up..BUT UNLESS YOU CALL AND MAKE SURE... They won't be ready? I mean just make that recording at the top of your automated system. That would clear up a lot of confusion for people even though the phone is never answered and you're just looped into a continuous recording when you try to speak to someone as well. Thank you rite aid... I'm pretty sure it's not due to theft that all the rite aids are closing.

My doctor left a note that said I would be paying out of pocket, which was ignored as they only filled what my insurance would cover. I explained my situation to the pharmacist so that it could be fixed and she was SO rude to me that I got in my car and immediately called my clinic to switch pharmacies. I had switched to this one the day before because it was closer to my house, but I have severe social anxiety and the rudeness of the pharmacist made me never want to go there again. I paid an extra $30 out of pocket just to avoid experiencing that again. Like dawg I'm just trying to pick up my meds. The CVS pharmacy in target is much better, and the people there are always very friendly.

If you need prescriptions in a timey manner, or have a medical condition that requires scheduled medications, DO NOT use this pharmacy. I called 10 times with no answer to check on my prescription that was 3 days late and it was still not ready. My doctor also tried to call with no answer. The pharmacist was very rude. My doctor transferred my prescriptions to a different pharmacy as he was afraid for my health and their inability to fill prescriptions in a timely manner.
