This is the 4th Mazda in my household, 3 leases and a purchase. The first 2 leases and the purchase were from the Mazda dealership in Gladstone. Unfortunately for them, I can only presume, that they changed management, and now all they seem to want is immediate sales. If you're not ready to sign, they don't want to deal with you, but that's another review. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Royal Moore Mazda and John Raptor. He never pushed, very congenial, and he knew what I was looking for, so we kept in contact. Not once did I get any pressure or "pitch". On the day I leased my latest Mazda CX-5. Then I had the pleasure of working with Dave the Finance Manager, turns out he used to be at my former dealership, what a small world. He had the financial end of it done in RECORD time, NOT 2 or 3 hours of trying to up sell, etc. He was fast and concise. Suffice it to say that Royal Moore now has my loyalty. They were honest, and direct and I had a lasting rapport with them from the in just emails at the beginning. They worked with me, and I got a great deal on my 2024 CX-5 and could not be happier. I can't thank John and Dave enough for their work in putting my deal together and for all the honesty, respect and integrity they showed me. They may be 30 + minutes away, but they are MY dealership now. I HIGHLY recommend this dealer, John and Dave. Thanks guys!!! Until the next time.

The service center has completely gone downhill in the last couple years. When management changed everything changed. For years this was the go-to place for most of my family's service or repairs. They were always honest and fairly priced. Now they seem to want to drum up business and some of their repair quotes are outrageous. We tried another Mazda dealership for repairs and paid $200+ less than we were quoted by Royal Moore for the same repair.

This review is for the Mazda service department at Royal Moore. I called two weeks ago and asked for an appointment to replace my ambient temperature sensor. They made an appointment four days later. I show up for the appointment, and they don't have the sensor because there's no exchange between the people who answer the phone and the people who actually manage service. I complained and asked for a manager. He came out and couldn't have shown less customer orientation. He said I wasn't giving them enough time. I laughed and said, I gave you 4 days, it's on you. He would not admit fault. I would give them a negative star review if I could for the actions above. I had to make two trips to south hillsboro to get my car fixed. That's annoying. To have a customer service manager basically say it's may fault that they don't have an exchange process... is infuriating.

We went here and Mary Osborne helped us to get me my new car she was very knowledgeable about the vehicles there, kind and knew just what I wanted based on my interests. I walked out happily and appreciate the great customer service. Smooth transaction and very helpful staff made my first car buying experience easy.

Bait and switch, called a training moment. In writing offer and pursued for over a month asking me to trade in a vehicle I had no interest in trading in. Not in the market, not seeking anything. Called from the dealership asking to buy my trade for a $7k difference for new vehicle. Came in and they came back with your vehicle is in amazing condition but we're $10k apart. Apologies we need to train more not to give numbers unseen, although I clairified 3 times and in writing before driving over an hour to the dealership, waiting 2.5 hrs for numbers! Terrible experience that the dealership initiated and pursued me with falsified data and information. The definition of bait and switch. I worked for a dealership for 5 years and never experienced this happening to a customer and never made a falsified offer. A gift card of $100 to cover gas, the sales manager telling me to go out to dinner to have drinks and try to forget this ever happened. Wow. Don't come here and even if it's in writing, don't trust they'll honor their word or offer. Thanks RJ, but I'm sure I'll remember. One good experience tells 5 people, one bad experience tells 10 or more. I had told several people over the last month or so about this offer and who it was with, I'll be sure to update them, perhaps over drinks with my gift card, reminiscing.

Horrible!!! I took my car in for an oil change, explained to them that the Low Engine Oil Level light was on and there is a known issue for the CX-30 Turbo's for this; not only was I totally dismissed by being told my appt was made too late and no one could check my car (I called and they called me during the week to confirm my appt) I was also told "I never heard of this issue, you could read anything on the internet" and "the car is under warranty, if I were you I would run it till the engine blew". My father who has been a mechanic for over 50 yrs told me to contact Mazda directly and let them know what I was told, which I did. Mazda said this is a known issue with the Turbo's and they should've done diagnostic's on the car and she was not going to tell me to drive it till the engine blows. She contacted another Mazda of my choice; my car is now at another local dealer where diagnostic was done and there is indeed an oil leak, parts on order and Mazda covering this known issue. Do not go to Royal Moore, they will dismiss you! Also they tried to tell me I did not have pre-paid oil changes which I know I purchased, when I went to the other dealer they told me right off, I see you purchased the extended warranty which included the oil changes. Royal wanted me to pay $86 for this service! The only decent thing they did was top off my oil, at my request.

Went to the dealership to look at cars, was greeted by Taylor. She showed us different options of cars that we test drove and compared which one would be more compatible to what I was looking for. Taylor was very knowledgeable, helpful and was not pressuring me for a sale. We ended up buying the car. Thank you Taylor! I recommend this dealership if you're wanting to get a car!

So kind and considerate of my time, great customer service found and fixed a tire that had a nail in it. They also set up SD card for my Navigation. Altogether great experience. I'm thrilled to have Mazda on my side.

So far, our experience has not been great. The support received buying our car here was excellent. However, for the same problem, our service representative has failed to call us back 5 times now. I'm sure they're busy, but "forgetting" to call back five times is terrible service. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because everyone has been fine except for the person assigned to help us.

My experience with Royal Moore has been anything but a nightmare. I bought a brand new car there, thinking that if I ever had any problems with it, I would get good service. I've experienced nothing but deceit and lies when I have taken it in for warranty repairs not once have I been given the truth. They Will do anything they can to avoid warranty work because there is no money in it for them like personal repairs. I took it in one time because the backup camera was not working periodically when I arrived at the dealership of course it worked they took it in the shop, then almost 2 hours later told that there was nothing wrong with it. I asked them if they went on the GM website to see if there was any mention pertaining to the back up camera they assured me there was nothing on the website and had never seen what I was describing. Then, six weeks later I am notified there's a recall on the back up camera because of periodic blackouts causing a safety issue. I made three More appointments assured that the part was in stock only to be told each time after waiting more than an hour that they didn't have the part, then the lies start flowing so easily, when you point out that it just couldn't be as they described they get all indignant feel that they've been insulted because you've caught them in a lie. Another time I took it in for a minor warranty repair. They said they'd have to keep the car for a day or two almost a week later I am called and told that the car is ready to be picked up upon arriving. I went to the car to find out that absolutely nothing had been done. When I asked about this they said oh we didn't know what was wrong with it then when I pointed it out to them, they said we didn't know what was wrong with it because We couldn't find any paperwork they said this like it was no big deal. when I asked them now that they knew what was wrong with the car would they put it in the shop and fix it. They told me that I'd have to reschedule another appointment because they were too booked up. Saying this like it was absolutely no inconvenience to me and didn't understand why I'd be the slightest bit upset. You must understand this is a corporate business that has absolutely one goal and one goal only and that is to make money which is the goal of all businesses, although the way they operate you could say that robbing banks was a business. They have no concern for customer satisfaction. The bottom line is as long as you're paying for it they'll be more than happy to take your money but if it's warranty work, they want nothing to do with it because there's no money in it for them. They will tell you any lie they need to with a smile on their face. I have been to the dealership many times to try and get warranty work done, there must be a massive turnover because I've never seen any employee twice.

This place is such a joke, went in to trade out our lease and we're thrown around to 3 different sales associates I don't even care to go into the waste of 3 hours we experienced just don't waste your time and huge thank you to Herzog Mazda for getting us our brand new car without all the bullshit.
