Gunna revise this a little.... Probably the worst store I've been to in the metro area condescending clerks with control issues ? a pharmacy tech with ties to a group of drug addicts and a fentanyl case that resulted in the death of a man that was a creepFrankly and honestly I would do buisness on this stretch of road the people employed at these places are the same dealing drugs shooting each other and participating in criminal activity I've spent countless hours avoiding them and these places decompressing to my employer and taking care in conversations related to stuff like this with people from other areas ... During covid these people crossed a line since then I e had a rash of homicides including a supposed serial killer and multiple suicides washing up at work I've had these people just show up without invitation ...As far as this store goes I'd recommend driving the extra few miles and finding a cleaner store without the employed demographic ...Frankly the more bad experiences I have the more it gaslights me and frankly that's what these people want to happen so their no longer in jeopardy of being held accountable honestly this place and others could burn to the ground and wouldn't bat an eye ... Maybe things would be different if they started finding bodies in their parking spots at work and suddenly had their hours micro managed cut and union taxes increased to pay for the infrastructure they use ..There maybe 3-4 nice people at this store the rest are just no .. meaning whatever it is the answer is exactly what u think it's going to be

Long wait at the bottle return. Only one functioning machine. Machine kept breaking. Room was a disaster.Pharmacy is open and closed odd hours. Closed for lunch, but sometimes closes early or opens late. Often at the end of the day they close earlier than posted hours. Predictably unpredictable.Update: Today They re-earned their one star review. I tried to return a hairbrush but they said because I had bought it at a different Safeway location I could not return it here. I had the receipt and everything. They were very snarky with me and unapologetic and didn't want to help. Very frustrating. I went to another Safeway (not the one I originally bought it at or this one) and was able to return it without any issues whatsoever.

So I walked into the Safeway, pregnant and hungry and crying, unable to make decisions and having really very bad day, and I asked this young man at the Deli (4pmish sunday december 3rd) if he could make me a sandwich, and he walked me through the process and made me feel like I wasn't in the most embarrassing situation I could remember. He cared for me with dignity and kindness and made me the an amazing, high quality sandwich. I didn't remember all the words for what I wanted (I think my blood sugar was low) and he knew all the details to help. I hope this young man has all the most wonderful things that he could want as he goes through life. Thank you for making me feel accepted.

Floral lady was rude. Tried making small talk with her. She rolled her eyes at me and threw her hands up in the air. When I said okay thanks have a good day, she said nothing. Poor customer service skills.

I was checking out when I discovered one roll of toilet paper was missing. The checker said just get another package to replace it (same price same product) While my husband was getting the replacement, a woman came over from customer service and yelled at the checker about not going through her to do an official refund she also said that it did not matter if there was a long line at her station the customer would just have to wait, no matter how long. I do not shop at a store to be treated like that, or be embarrassed for the checker. If this is official policy what happened to putting your customer first?

We did not have a great experience at Safeway. The checker, named Cynthia, who was clearly a manager, because the entire time she was ringing us up, she was giving instructions to employees and discussing their work schedule, spent over 5 minutes hunting for coupons in the ad for the person in front of us, leaving us waiting -- without an apology. I noticed that she bagged the customers groceries before and after us, but left us to bag our own, she also didn't bother hunting for coupons in the ad for us, like the other customer, and didn't say anything to us except for, "Find everything okay?" at the beginning of the transaction, as she was speaking to various employees the entire time, even shouting across the store to the. She handed us our receipt without a word, then, after we'd bagged our own groceries in a rush, we heard her say, "Paper or plastic?" to the man behind us and proceeded to bag his. I was thoroughly annoyed when we left, after the long weight and poor customer service. Non-management employees have always been much friendlier, offering great customer service to us though.

Store was extremely clean which made it easier to shop and Locate Items faster. The produce at the Safeway looked immaculate, Incredibly high quality. Prices get even better if you are a Safeway club member. If you're not a club member just ask for a club card at the customer service desk.

We went to Safeway to recycle bottles and cans! We usually are able to get to the machine's in little time,and get our money.

Say what you will, but these guys will help out when in a clutch. We lost our wallet here, and didn't realize until like 45 minutes later. We came back to the store, notified the employees and they were right on it. 5 employees were immediately active and ready to help. The manager Arianna was the one who found it originally and we are very thankful.

Good customer service kid. Came right out to tend to the bottle drop when asked. Bottle drop was pretty full but it was Sunday.

My mom went I was in the car on crutches cause of my right knee issue. It wad after the xrays at the hospital bit why didn't you know I was at the Hillsboro hospital I had my phone with me.
