Took my 2012 Evoque in for an oil change, and informed the mechanic ( wish I remembered his name.. bill/will????) that it had an oil leak but has been temporarily fixed(not currently leaking). He was kind enough to ensure that he would check to see if there was oil leaking and very understanding. He got started on the oil change right away and reported that there was no active leak but it did look as if there was a leak from oil
Drip Stains he saw . He assured me that it did not look too significant, though it could get worked depending on how much I drive. He was very helpful in telling when to check/how often to ensure my oil stays full and monitor the leak! Definitely will go back , and would Recommend to anyone :)

My older SUV started leaking coolant. Some internet searching lead me to believe it might be a blown radiator. Definitely beyond my ability to repair.
I did some emergency googling to find a repair shop ASAP, as this is our only reliable vehicle at the moment.
Whitman’s Auto Care popped up as an option that was relatively close to home, and the reviews were very positive.
I called and spoke with Dave, who offered to look at it if I could get it to him first thing the following morning (on a Friday).
30 minutes after dropping it off at their shop, he called and confirmed what the needed repair was. 5 hours later, the car was repaired and a couple of extra, minor maintenance items were handled as well.
Price was very reasonable according to the average cost of repairs as listed on Google.
More importantly even than price, though, was that the two men working there were helpful, willing to set aside things to help us.
Dave said he’s had that shop open for many years, and plans to pass it to his son when he retires. Definitely the kind of business people should be patronizing. Family guys who do good work at a reasonable price and extremely quick.
10/10 would recommend, they will be my first call when I have a problem in the future.

These guys are the most fair, honest and detail oriented mechanics. I first stumbled across them when I used the intoxalock service. Then I took my car to them for an oil leak, turns out i just needed a filter! I have taken my car there when I just needed a light bulb, even when they're closing up the shop they still help me (with no judgements of course for not knowing how to change a headlight) Will always talks me through everything and will even teach me how to do it myself! I just took my Impala Ltz there for some grinding and noises, it was fixed and diagnosed (traction control wiring issue) within 2 days at such a low cost. These guys are always so fair with me and care about what they do. I won't go anywhere else. And might I add, they do oil changes for a fraction of the cost at other places! These guys are hands down my favorite. Thank you for everything you do to help when in a rut. Car issues are stressful and they make it easy!

I brought a used car in for a pre-purchase inspection and was absolutely impressed with the quality of service and attention to detail that I received. I could tell Will really cared about his quality of work and went as far as showing pictures he had taken to help better convey his findings. He had even looked up any known issues with the make and model prior to my arrival to better help his diagnosis and know where he should focus extra attention. He offered his honest opinion of the car in its current state, which really helped me make a confident and educated decision on whether to purchase the vehicle or not. I would highly recommend Will to others.

Dave is amazing! Finally, an honest and fair mechanic. He always seems to be able to get us in quickly, and repairs are done fast. The prices are reasonable, and often lower than quoted prices elsewhere.
We recently had an intermittent issue with an alternator. He diagnosed it correctly and put in a rebuilt unit. This solved the problem, but a few months later, the problem started again. The alternator tested normally as he kept trying throughout the day. He kept at it, and we had ended up with a bad replacement unit. 100% not his fault at all, but he apologized profusely and replaced the bad unit for no cost.
If you need a quality local mechanic you can trust, look no further than Dave!

Our AC compressor failed and this made our car undriveable. Whitman's had us in the shop within two days and our car was ready only four hours after we dropped it off. The final bill was 24% below the next lowest quote we received and they also replaced a missing lug nut and clips that another shop didn't reinstall after some work. I will definitely bring my car back in the future.Service: Air conditioning
