Discover Bicycles is a family owned and operated small business, started in 1991. It is the oldest bike shop in the Gorge. The original neighborhood shop has a friendly vibe and can help with everything from a first bike to the last, including kid's bikes, mountain, gravel, and commuter bikes in both electric and acoustic versions. They offer rental bikes and a great selection of shoes, clothing, tools, and accessories. The shop provides quick repairs and gets bikes dialed in. The place cares about its customers, with staff giving the royal treatment and going above and beyond to help, creating a very positive experience for visitors and cyclists.
Fair prices and they do a great job on repairs. Have never had a bad experience with them.

Kurt was a huge help to me while I was traveling through Hood River by bike. When a spoke snapped, he was able to replace it before closing, gave me pointers on how to prevent this in the future, and even drove my friend and I to our campsite.
