I just had the best customer service experience EVER! I was looking for two specific items for my daughter for an upcoming river trip. Not only did I find these with a 20% discount from other very reputable companies, I also mistakenly ordered twice but with two different chair colors and two different shopping addresses. It took the customer service agent no more than 5 minutes to rectify my error, cancel one order and get my daughter the chair color I wanted her to have. Long-winded yes, but I couldn't help myself. I will absolutely order from them again!

Their customer service was outstanding. I ordered a life jacket for sailing. In less than a month the jacket seam by the zipper had ripped out, making the jacket unusable. Within an hour of receiving my email about the problem along with a photo I received a personalized response. No standardized corporate response. And within a few days they shipped me a replacement life jacket.
Overall, a good experience. They acknowledged the problem quickly, responded and resolved the problem promptly.

Great selection... but the best part is the knowledgeable staff. I made a call to the customer service team about my order, I was not sure what length I would need for my new paddle. not only did they make it easy to exchange but we decided on a new paddle length due to my use per her recommendation. She knows paddling better than I do! I will continue to order from them. Oh yeah, did I mention that they are about 20% off the MSRP on all items? Its like a perpetual discount for all customers... always.

I ordered a Werner kayak paddle from Outdoorplay. Buying was easy using PayPal. The paddle was shipped quickly, and arrived safely packed. Great paddle at a great price. Awesome store!

This is not the first time they have neglected to ship an order and lied about it but this is definitely the first time that they have lied about it for 2 weeks and the last time I was trying to speak to customer service, they tried to say that it isn't here yet because of my fault for being a hurricane Helene victim. That happened 3 months ago and there have been no issues with the infrastructure in my area for at least two months. Furthermore, in the amount of time they have spent arguing with me that they did ship something that the postmaster says they didn't, I have made three different orders from companies in Europe and all three of those packages have already arrived.

SCAM!
If you are ordering a product that may need to be returned than order elsewhere. They not only make you provide your own shipping cost to return, but also charge a “cleaning fee” for all items which was 50$ for me. The item I returned had a couple dog hairs on it, as I have dogs. I simply opened the box, tried it on, and returned will all original tags, etc. I was shocked at the customer service and insane return charges. Next time I will use NRS like I typically do, because they have great customer support and do not scan for returns.
