Nice post office in Hood River. Can start to get busy at certain times but the staff was friendly and were getting to customers quickly. Lots of parking around the area as well.

I’m a little late in writing this review, but while staying in Hood River for a month, I had a couple of packages that needed to be shipped. Each time, I was greeted with a smile, a patient ear, and given the best recommendation for shipping options.I am always going into a USPS Office with my hackles up because, unfortunately, they have typically been my worst customer service experiences. But my past three interactions have been nothing but stellar. I mean, 15 stars out of 10. It’s amazing, and it gives me hope that maybe we are learning how to be decent humans. Kindness AND efficiency. Who knew?!

I am here everyday because its part of my job. So far everyone has been really friendly except for one employee named Rocio. I went today to finish signing paperwork for a P.O Box rental and from the start she was annoyed because she had to help me finish the process. I saw her roll her eyes with another employee right in front of me. How professional is that. In my opinion this needs to be addressed because she needs to show a better attitude to customers.

A lot of mail gets lost or I receive mail that doesn't belong to me, and unfortunately my neighbors don't return my letters... I hope they get better one day...

I know mistakes are bound happen with any carrier, but this post office has made it a headache to get packages delivered, I become nervous anytime I need to order things online, if I had to make a guess on how many times USPS has lost my packages it would probably be 6 out of 10 deliveries. Most of the time they are delivered to a wrong address and our neighbors kindly return the items, Sometimes though we aren't that lucky. One day the carrier decided to skip my house on the delivery day and decided to mark it as delivered that day, came home and thought my package was stolen after checking the tracking, well oddly enough it was delivered the next day, I mean why mark it delivered and just not bother delivering that day.

They have been holding my mail for 4 days without no reason im frustrated. They have been skipping my mailbox on purpose if i could give a negative i would!!!

I've never been inside of this post office, but the old ass lawnmower they have in their back alley is top notch. Never seen a better specimen in my life. Endless entertainment for kids and adults alike.
