Was still able to find what I wanted, even in the middle of a major store renovation. Good job managing all that shuffling.

Pretty annoying when I go to return an item and they say the customer service desk closes early, but the rest of the store is still open. Don't trust the hours.

Selection was poor and it was hard to find things. The checkout lady was really nice though and checkout went great.

I must be accustomed to Supercenter Walmarts because this one just fell flat. The store is incredibly cramped and their selection is very small. Shopping here was both underwhelming and overwhelming, and not in a good way. Shelves weren’t stocked well, or with a variety of goods. The aisles are tight and the shelves are stacked very high. The workers aren’t particularly friendly either, although one did notice I was looking for a place to put my basket on my way out the door and she took it from me, which I appreciated.
I used self-checkout and the older gentleman working didn’t say a word to me, but gestured towards and open lane; he was wearing his sunglasses inside and sitting propped against the check stand, very odd.
I will do everything in my power to avoid returning to this grocery store while I’m in Hood River.

This is not a superstore. It has a limited selection of groceries and no fresh produce. Looks like it used to be a regular Walmart and then they added a few groceries in the middle.
