“Best place in all of northwest Oregon to shop for Japanese Maples (from someone who has purchased 25+ trees from at least five different local nurseries and three online specialty vendors). Incredible selection and very good pricing on both the trees and delivery (which is in a covered box truck, so trees don’t get dried out during transport).

“My favorite nursery for veggies and flowers. Huge variety, huge selection, easy to access. Staff are helpful and friendly. Tried three others this season and none had as many options for different types of tomatoes, peppers, colors of petunias, types of flowers....and their hanging baskets are huge and priced reasonably. Go local!”
“Ok, I know I'll rate them better next time I go. I think it's because it's been such a cold spring that they didn't have the selection they had last year. Their plants are all of superb quality. I was still glad I took the hour trip to shop there. I'll wait a couple weeks and go again. But be aware, they are not selling Proving Winners this year. That's a disappointment to me.

Yay! Plants galore. Very healthy. It seemed a little more expensive than last year but still excellent prices compared to other stores. Well worth the 1.25 drive”
“I ordered from Swan Island last two years and tubers are good quality. This year I got 2 red ones, Caliente and American Beauty and they bloomed first. Both about 4ft tall and lots of flowers that perform well as cut flowers.”

“Love, Love, LOVE this nursery! My husband & I have driven down from West Linn for the past 30+ years to pick out our hanging baskets, annuals & veggie starts. The selections they offer are almost overwhelming because they are all so beautiful that you just want to buy them all! The plants are so healthy that they last from spring to fall & the prices can't be beat! Every winter, my husband & I start planning & arguing what we'll buy in the spring from S&K. This year will be bittersweet, as he lost his battle with cancer & passed away 4 days before Christmas. But I'll be back this Spring! Also, for those of you who'd like to make the drive down, I'd recommend to stop by The Fibert for lunch in Aurora. That's what we used to do....a beautifully restored 1800's farm house that's been turned into a high end restaurant & serves wonderful food... I'll miss it”

“My family and I have been visiting Wooden Shoe’s Tuiip festival for years now and we always are looking forward to it. So much to do and see for everyone! Side note, they used to offer a photographer’s pass that was brilliant. There was a small fee but anyone who considers themselves photographer should try it at least once. “I like Al's. Price can be high, but usually good quality and a ton of variety. My one issue is that when things are on sale, say I purchase from the clearance in the back at 50% off, they seem to sneakily not honor it. The last 2 times I've purchased something they gave me the baseline 30% off (all pottery at this time) even though I confirmed with the checker at checkout they were 50% off and she came and reviewed the tags/stickers. That's happened 2x this year, so be aware if they're overcharging you.”
“I went there for the first time yesterday to pick up an online order. I didn’t realize they had a special pick up drive thru area but the cashier nicely showed me where to go. The store was very clean and seemed to have a good selection of items. I picked up my roses that I ordered which were a great deal ($10.00 less than most nurseries) and they had the colors I was looking for. I was so impressed with Wilco that I ordered 2 more rose plants I’m picking up today since I want to take advantage of their sale!”

“Great place for all your landscape supplies?. Bark dust. Landscape rocks big and small. Lava rock is only place that I know you can get it. Plus if you have to dump some debris they can handle that too. Been going there for decades”
“Took the kids today and they had a blast. Spent 4 hours there total so worth the admission cost. Very lovely layout. My kids went on and on about the fun they had today - especially the corn cannon, corn maze, bounce pad and big slide. We’ll definitely be back in the future.
*What would make it a 5 star review would be reducing price points and improving language on signage around the property to read “please a,b,c…, instead of “don’t do this and don’t do that””
