Beautiful view. Took particular enjoyment of watching the rangers kick out two neighboring trailers after their unleashed dogs attacked mine the second we exited our truck. Rangers were on it without me even calling them! Hope they got a hefty fine on their mandatory court appearance.

I've been here when I was kid & the thing that REALLY bothered me was all the dogs. Dogs DO NOT belong in ANY State Park or Campground. Dogs belong at home, in the backyard, on a chain, with food, water, doghouse, & nothing else. I really wish ALL DOGS were BANNED from ALL STATE PARKS & CAMPGROUNDS. They disturb & harass wildlife, leave nasty messes, bother other people, & steal food off tables. Just plain nuisances that don't belong anywhere but home.

A clean park, nice spot to stretch your legs, but no real trails. It looks like a peaceful place to camp. There's a nice boat dock on the Snake River and a nice view. They also have a fenced in area as a dog park.Restrooms: We didn't use them, just noticed they were thereDog-friendliness: Fenced in field where the pups can play off leash

Beautiful park! I have to keep my dogs on the paths due to sand burrs but wow, what a gorgeous place to spend a few nights!

This is a nice park for being desert. They've been working hard at cleaning up the brush and weeds. The bath houses/showers are clean and well maintained

Pleasant campground with 122 spaces, including a few tent-only and the rest general spaces with electricity and water. Dump station on site. To my surprise, in the 3rd week of August the campground is not crowded...there are dozens of empty sites. The back loop is the most crowded because the river views are better there. The front loop has some nice shade trees. The cost is $37 for non-Oregon residents; Oregon residents pay $24. Most spaces are back-in, but there are a few pull-through. The sites seem an adequate size for most rigs. We were in a 30 foot MH and all sites were big enough for that rig with room to spare. There is also a nice day-use area and a boat ramp. We stopped overnight on a long trip, but it is a destination as well; there were several families that looked settled in for a recreational visit, biking, boating, etc. I don't generally pay to camp, so the price seemed steep to me, but it certainly is several cuts above a typical RV park, which costs a lot more and isn't nearly as pleasant. The sites are not private, but you're not jammed in cheek by jowl either, and there's plenty of room in each site for chairs, tents, etc. Each site has a table and fire ring. It looks like a nice place to take the family.

The scenery was beautiful here. Beware. We were camping near the lake on catfish loop and the sprinkler leaked and flooded us all around the camper. Also, there are a ton of prickly things in the grass, don't go barefoot!

Hot. But the whole world is getting warmer. Big campsite. Beautiful river. Dump station clean and orderly. Staff are all nice. Quiet. Cannot hear Highway. Can hear occasional train. Cools down at night. Cool mornings. Hot afternoons. I love this country, personally. No humidity. 110 here feels like 95 in Illinois.

It looks like a beautiful park and it feels like a beautiful park but the 6 mosquito bites. I got in less than 10 minutes, wasn't worth it. The moral of the story here is bring some mosquito repellent.

Everything about this place is awesome! We booked a cabin right on the Snake River and were super surprised to find that it had AC as well. From our cabin there was no access to the river but that's ok - there is a boat launch area on the grounsd. The grounds are really clean and nicely set up. Bathroom/showers are also really clean. It's close to the highway but you couldn't hear the highway noise - nice and peaceful. We would definately stay here again and would highly recommend.
